They gonna burn so many bridges doing this tho
This has got to have everything to with the NIL side.
Ain't no way Wisconsin wants to play the game on the tampering front. Even if they did, it would do nothing to stop him from transferring. NCAA would go after the school. Not the kid.
Call their bluff and let's move on, especially if he hasn't been paid this contract renewal. Good luck proving damages in a court of law. Even more good luck explaining it to recruits. This is Wisconsin. Not UF. They won't have big enough bags to have recruits ignore the facts like the gators.
This is what happened last year with that Marshall to Tulane transfer, who I think ended up at LSU. It’s amazing how Miami is different to schools we have no competition issues with for the most part.
He should get a lawyer and look into taking legal action against Wisconsin.
Tulane was such ******** because Guidry left after just getting there. Then they gave ole boy a big NIL deal then on top of that UF had already been tampering with their qb . Which had them like “that’s it , I’m putting cases on all your asses “This is what happened last year with that Marshall to Tulane transfer, who I think ended up at LSU. “Millions of damages”
Does that benefit or hurt usThis is about to get very public if something doesn’t change/
No - doesn’t work like that. I had an NIL with Brashard and Cyr. You cannot make it the NIL agreement contingent on being at one school. That is why they have 30-day termination clauses by either party.
Moreover, this is an issue of Wisconsin not submitting paperwork. Nothing re: his NIL should have any impact on Wisconsin submitting his paperwork. Apples and oranges.

Miami isn’t concerned about anything. He’s the one trying to leave and they won’t allow him to. They can say whatever they want but there’s nothing binding that can keep him there.Does that benefit or hurt us
Wait , you mean we shouldn’t get our information from a bunch of scorned Wisconsin fans on a message board because it may end up being bad info?Doesn’t seem like it’s anything Miami did tho lol

My point was it went from Miami tampering was the hold up - to an NIL disputeYou can gather the information. It is an accurate indicator of how mad they are.
But feel free to disregard it as "legally binding".
Wild how 2,000 kids transfer in the country and 15+ have left Wisconsin but the 1 kid from south Florida that wants to leave and is known to want to return to Miami has a problem.Miami isn’t concerned about anything. Hard to deny the entire country is out for Miami every chance they can. Happens on Saturdays (we’re everyone’s Super Bowl) and happens in the off-season. See the ghey Dabo/Fran Brown love fest for beating Miami. Now see Wisconsin.
I'm gonna keep beating this drum. If we go to the B1G, this is the **** we're going to deal with on a regular basis. We just don't fit in there. Perception is king and we're going to be under a microscope.Wild how 2,000 kids transfer in the country and 15+ have left Wisconsin but the 1 kid from south Florida that wants to leave and is known to want to return to Miami has a problem.
