Xavier Lucas in the portal

I don't pretend to know the laws, but football aside, how can any school block a student from transferring to another college if they are academically qualified at the new school? As far as eligibility is concerned I don't recall ever seeing any player not being able to play with exception of the SEC rule.

You can't stop a transfer.

You can **** up the money and immediate-eligibility, though.

I can’t help but think this is hysterical. Everything we do is a big show, but also it’s like pulling teeth.

Thousands of players transferring, but because it’s Miami it’s an issue.

Y’all know how this ends. We’ll stopping trying bc of fear from NCAA. Lucas well end up somewhere other then Miami.

If we still fear the NCAA then we have the wrong ppl running the show...any other school would laugh in their face if they said anything. On the other hand I see why we don't back channel this could potentially be two botched DB acquisitions under this staff

Only miami could F this up. Just give him money to offset what he would get from that Wisconsin collective
Yes Miami has been known to self-sabotage itself at times but this doesn’t seem like Miami is the culprit here. This is the kid, his camp and a UW issue that sconie is trying to milk for everything they can.

So now we’re having buyouts for players? I’m not saying that’s where we’re headed or not. But I wouldn’t be the first program to cross that line. JMHO.
