We always have to learn a lesson but in places like Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama the state schools can stroll in 1 month before signing day with an offer & OV and the kids somehow never feel slighted. It's an insane double standard only Miami is held to.

First off, at this time last year..half the jokers on this board were canceling their season tickets so lets not do that my bro. Lol. So to ask Lucas to jump aboard like we all knew we were headed in the right direction is unfair. We were a joke last year. And the year before. Plain and simple. Lucas had no reason to come and shun the school who believed in him from the start while we slow played him. A 6-7 team slow playing him at that. Lol. Come on man. Macho told us this kid would be the goods for the last 2 years... Just like he told us about OJ. Staff messed up. It is what it is.

That said, this year is different. We are winning. We have an upward tracjectory. So no excuses handed to any recruit.

He's done coaching, he's trying to open a facility to train DBs last I heard
