Still could…
Wish they had this mf on '25.
Had 62rec & 815yds at 13 yards per catch & did so while playing with a sh*tty QB in a sh*tty Offense.
Good route runner with good speed & is natural hands catcher. You take this kid ALL DAY adding him onto what we already giving Cam Ward another weapon & allowing the Offense to have the versatility it needs in order to not get stiffled when teams decide to sell-out to stop one aspect of the attack. It's the patented counter-punch that I always speak about when discussing...
Him and jacolby are yac monsters, perfect for air raid style offensesThe Athletic's NFL Draft writer just ranked Sam Brown the #7 WR prospect in the 2025 draft class (by comparison he ranks Colbie Young as the #25 Senior WR). Here's part of his analysis:
Of Brown’s 61 receptions in 2023, only five came on targets of 20-plus yards. Part of the issue was inconsistent downfield placement and timing by the quarterback, but Brown can also do a better job with vertical tracking and finishing. More than 70 percent of his catches last season came on throws of fewer than 10 yards, but that should change in Miami’s offensive scheme.
2024 season/2025 NFL Draft outlook
The Hurricanes added several high-profile transfers this offseason like quarterback Cam Ward and running back Damien Martinez, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Brown is the highest drafted of Miami’s incoming transfers. The Savannah, Ga., native spent two seasons at West Virginia (2020-21) and two seasons at Houston (2022-23), leading the Cougars in receiving last year with 62 receptions for 815 yards and three touchdowns.
If the 2025 NFL Draft were tomorrow, I don’t think Brown would be one of the first five receivers drafted. If you’re looking for an underrated senior prospect ready to emerge, though, Brown has the talent to ascend.
Apparently our WR group is filthyThis WR group this year is fuccin fuccin
It’s just a group of dawgsApparently our WR group is filthy
I'd rather have three #2s than one #1 WR. I'm serious. It’s just a group of dawgs
I think most of us have had this “well we are missing that elite #1 blah blah blah” but the competition for the starting spots is gonna be fierce
Gonna bring out the best in them hopefully because there’s no room for slacking

Rumors are swirling that he may soon become Sam Browne, as the "e" adds a touch of class.
OOFBut but but he’s not better than Horton or George.
Go watch the tape, and there’s a reason he has second round/third round grades heading into 2024. There’s a reason we got into a bidding war with AtM despite our WR room being “loaded”.
750-800 yards minimum from Brown, wouldn’t be shocked to see a 1k next to his name if all goes right.
Not really
