With Emily as QB1 Conception and Rivers are long shots to sign here. Horton saw enough and decided to go the a school with a RB as QB.

When he was WR3 here he had Cam Ward throwing him the ball. He11 our number 4 guy caught over 500 yards in this offense. Thats not going to happen in Alabama where there number 3 WR caught for 129 yards and number 4 105 yards

Was probably fed how much better the offense will look year 2 with Milroe improvement and him showing how he got 3 WRs drafted in the day 2 last year at washington plus more money is better than Emory throwing him the ball

Milroe had legit like 40% less passing attempts than Ward had lol. Just purely on volume you aren't getting >600 yards at Bama without being a top 2 receiver while Milroe is their QB. I have no doubt Deboer would like a more pass happy offense like he had at Washington with Penix. But if Milroe returns that's not happening.

If Milroe enters draft I guess I could see Bama going for like Ewers...

Not really. Allar said he is returning. Nussmeier said he's returning. Ewers is likely returning. By factor of elimination Milroe is 3rd or 4th imo.

Jaxon Dart will probably end up like 3rd-5th off the board now. Kyle McCord and Tyler Shough have likely played themselves into getting drafted mid round maybe. Right now the question is if Beck declares. He's maybe still top 5 QB off board after starting this season as a likely 1st rounder. But after this poor season he may return. Maybe Kurtis Roarke mid rounds too but not above Milroe. I don't think Dillon Gabriel is a real NFL prospect. Probably gets drafted just cause this class sucks currently... Same with will Howard. Jalon Daniels returning. Cade Klubnik returning I believe ( but honestly he should declare). Riley Leonard can't throw. Kyron Drones might be a top 8 QB off the board if he declares at this point....

Im sure Fletcher loves it. He knows we’ll be a primary running team.

I’m more worried about the minute word comes in Mateer is going elsewhere we have our returning WR1 officially enter the portal. lol

Imma be honest, it’s kind of wild how the NIL and transfer portal has change CFB landscape. It’s starting to resemble the pros and if that’s the case. Mario and staff needs to be looking at building out there teams like the chiefs. A few WRs that can get the job done who aren’t asking for crazy money and an elite qb. Focus on recruiting WRs from highschool or the transfer portal and show good production, and focus on spending big money in the trenches, and on defense.

Is that the reason though? One of Mario’s minister of information here claims Horton was trying to extort us.
