WR Board ‘25 Edition

Are we sure this guy just wasnt giving his opinion that he thinks a top wr would enter the portal to follow beck. Or do we take it as he actually knows of the wr in question???!?! Ive read it both ways.
There have been some people around here acknowledging that it is an accurate smoke signal and not just random speculation that is willy-nilly.

5 WR typically see a lot of PT, and that's assuming no injuries. We want 2 guys that are reliable/guaranteed high level starter quality from portal. The young guys will be relied upon
Daniels, Trader, Carr right now are the top 3. Grab another top portal guy and you have Chance, Ray Ray, and all the incoming freshmen competing for those 5th & 6th rotation spots.

There are some dogs in next year’s freshmen WR class. Someone will earn playing time out of that group. I won’t bet against Malachi Toney at any point in his career after what he did in the high school playoffs.

i think he's speculating

jeremiah smith won't come

but he should - want to catch passes in ohio (it's cold as **** up here) from julian "noodle arm" sayin or at home from carson beck?

Ruiz needs to pipe down; a couple 'elite' receivers is a dream scenario, but that would certainly cause someone good, if not more than one, to hit the portal.
Assuming the 'elite' statement/tweet is true, that narrows it down quite a bit. Smith, Ryan Williams, and ???

Gaby:

With Miami's quarterback situation settled, the Hurricanes remain active in the transfer portal market ahead of the final add/drop day of January 22.

A name emerging on the radar is former Boise State wide receiver Prince Strachan, a 6-foot-5, 212-pounder who caught four passes for 40 yards in the College Football Playoffs against Penn State.

No thanks. He’s not the type game changer that is take reps from your young pups for.

The young guys will transfer
agree, staff has to play it smart or we'll lose 1 or 2 of carr, upshaw, Robinson, ray ray,

unless it's a top 5-10 WR in college football then we just need to ride with what we have

we have beck, great RB's, lofton, and a great OL - he can make it work with talented WR's
