Idc what some guy posted during the Cal game. Again no **** what we would worse without Cam you're not saying anything anybody doesn't know and again it's a useless point we do have Cam.

We don’t know what this team is without Cam Ward becuase this team hasn’t played a game without Cam Ward.

Our fans are the only ones that do this weird stuff yall want to be miserable,

I genuinely feel bad for yall cus you can’t ever enjoy “your” Canes.

The year doesn’t matter, the product on the field didn’t matter.

Deep down you’re secretly rooting for losses so you can prove to be right. You hate every hire Richt, GoldEn, Manny, Mario, every kid that starts over the kid you think should be out there. Every coach who’s hired that you don’t agree with.

Talk down on our rivals for not recognizing the state of their program while ignoring the state of our program.

I could go on and on and on but what’s the point.

He has masked that the defense is inexcusably bad at every level. Our best linebacker is Jalen Alderman. I also think that if we have young talent from our last two classes they need to show it or they need to be recruited over via the portal.

It was reasonably close, thanks to him, for the most part. Otherwise, we would've been blown out in some of those games.

Exactly. We have given Cam a lot of control and input into the offense. With another guy, they would follow the script they were given. Not to say that we win every game (and we would not be in the playoff), but there would games we would win, albeit with less style points than we are this year.

Can’t compare pros to college. It’s a free for all with recruiting, not a draft and salary caps.

These threads show after 3 years this program is one player better than it was before Mario took it over. The tens of millions of dollars functionally changed nothing. The entire argument for Mario was building a program the right and sustainable way. There is nothing sustainable about what’s going on. It’s a house of cards based on how one kid plays.

They aren't really masked. Pretty obvious that we still have a long ways to go. We aren't a very good football team and won't be next year either

That said - a couple of the wins we had earlier in year where we Cam comebacks was partially due to Cam in the game too.

A good system qb who knows who he is and takes what defenses give would have us at 6-3 or 7-2 imo.

Next year I could easily see us have a worse qb and a dominant offense with the strength in oline, rbs and tes.

Going to disagree with you here. Every QB throws INTs. Cam’s look worse because some of them should have been throwaways.

A system QB 9 times of of 10 does not have multiple come back wins being down double digits in the 2nd half. Especially not with this defense.

System QBs also don’t break single season TD records at Miami, lead you the # 1 offense, or anyway close to Heisman contenders.

It’s not dumb but I get that some of you can’t separate the generational talent of Cam Ward masking whether there has been real improvement across the board

Would Oregon be undefeated without Gabriel? I’m pretty certain they would have 3 losses currently without him right now.

The point is: we have Ward and are 9-1 with all of our goals still in front of us. Teams lose. Good teams get upset every year. All the time. We know we have warts. But currently we are 9-1 with a path to the CFP.

I think that there have been real improvement on offense. Cam makes it that much better and spectacular but the numbers I think show that the supporting cast on offense has been there.
NOW on defense it's total regression and truly unexcusable. Almost unthinkable how far they have fallen in one year. Ultimately that falls on Mario.
