Without Cam Ward…

The youth needs to play. The veterans are getting exposed and their effort has been poor at multiple positions.
dont disagree here, was hoping they got good reps during ACC play
sucks Mack was Hurt, esp with Brown down.

Pruitt and Hayes are different athletes than our LB's san Wes.

Day probably our best special teams player wish he got some time

You left out the twenty something 5* and dozens of first round picks.
Are you complimenting him? I don’t understand what you’re trying to do. We know he’s an elite recruiter as well. It’s shows. He’s won a national title in 25% of his head coaching career.

Mario is supposed to be an elite recruiter. Why can’t he get all those 5 stars too?

This goes back to the arguments in the Spring. Mario brought in all those transfers because he's risk adverse. He operates like he has a roster full of 3-stars thst wotk their way up and see the field in year and 4. The lions share of the reps are to veteran players who quote frankly are not getting it done.

I get it. It's year 3 and Mario needed wins and proof of concept, but this is not a championship team. It's a team that could lose badly in the CFP if they get thst far. Quite frankly, I'd rather see the youth play this year and have an elite defense in 2025 or 2026.

There's no integration of young WRs. 4 WRs get the lion's share of snaps and we're losing 3 of them next year.

Jesus. I have like 15 threads going simultaneously between 4 or 5 different boards. No idea at this point. Too much Blantons possibly.

where Brown going?

You're right. I thought Sam Brown was a Senior. Honestly, I want JoJo to take his spot. He can remain the 4th WR. The other guys can fight it out for the slot. Also, I expect Chance Robinson to be in the mix.

I don't want another transfer WR. Mario needs to play those top blue chips he recruited.

This is baseless bull****. Take care guy.

This isn’t baseless at all, you are just not thinking rationally because we lost one game and are 9-1. Did you know of the 24 Colorado starters, 22 of them are transfers. Colorado recruits like 10 high players every class. We stack Top 10 classes, when Shaduer and Hunter leaves it’s a wrap. They are losing all of their best WRs to go with Hunter and Shaduer. Colorado will be in a complete rebuild next year. We bring in a quality portal QB next year and we still win 9-10 games

-We lose our QB that is the only reason we are above .500
-We don't have a receiving core for next year
-We lose our top RB
-We will probably lose our top TE because he keeps greeting gassed up as a first round pick
-We lose 2 starters on OL
-We lose our best DL and will have to replace 3 bodies
-We don't have anything noteworthy at LB.
-We have Oj in the secondary and that's it

We aren't set up to roll next year. We will be heavy buyers in the portal again.

Damien Martinez is a junior, Rivers is a Junior. The only guarantee losses on offense are Cam, X, George and Zach Carpenter. Sam Brown, Horton and Arroyo are coming back. We have a bunch of WRs we have recruited waiting to get an opportunity and we can add through the portal if necessary. The difference is Colorado entire starting unit will be mostly made up of portal guys but with us it will be like 6-8. QB is not going to be a problem, we are going to be able to get a legit starter.

No RB is out of eligibility
We lose 2 WRS
Sure we lose 2 starters on ol we have guys
The younger LBs are better athletes
You forget brown and mack at CB

It's college guys leave it's why you have ro recruit like crazy and get a few transfers

But we do have Cam Ward these threads are so stupid. If the Chiefs didn't have Mahomes they wouldn't win super bowls huhuhuh
I want our floor to be Penn State where we win the vast majority of games against lower tier teams and then when we have a Heisman QB it is time for championship.

If we have a 7-5 program that needs a Heisman QB just to finally beat the basketball schools on the schedule then that is below our standard IMO.

The question is do we look like an elite plug-and-play operation that was elevated by a portal QB or do we look like an operation with a rotten foundation and one load-bearing support, or something in between. Worth pondering but for now we can just enjoy Ward and the opportunity to win 3 more games and get an ACC title.
