Without Cam Ward…

Norvell might as well be Mario. Same trajectory. Only good with a good QB. At least Norvell got an ACC title out of it
I see UGA with a 5* at QB with 2 losses. Should have 4 if Lagway didn’t get hurt and Stoops played to win. And that’s with 28 or whatever it is 5* players on their roster.

where does Kirby fall in this equation?

so he walked into a dumpster fire and outperformed Mike the 1st 3 years while recruiting for the future.
Hes 100x better than Mike,
Manny was 21-15 fired for Mario
Taggart was 11-14 fired for Norvell

Who walked into a worse “dumpster fire”?

Manny was the worst CEO I have ever witnessed, we were playing walk Ons, he couldn't recruit or build rooms, whoever hired that guy is a joke

Manny was awful huh? Played walk ons and still finished 21-15. What’s that make Mario? He’s got way more talent right?

Manny 21-15
Mario 21-14
Richt left Manny with more talent than Manny left Mario.

And the team culture was definitely in the ****tter by the time Manny left.

Those rosters aren’t far off each other. Nobody remembers how bad the team was in Richt’s last year and how toxic everything was being so bad. Y’all are taking Mario at his word bc he hired two bad coordinators and completely failed his first year. If he would’ve come in and won 9 games, the culture would’ve been much better.

I think u’re missing the point.

During the Cal game, we had a thread saying Cam is not elite. We have fans this game blaming Cam.

Cam has his flaws, he’s our 2024 version of Brett Farve, but w/o him, this team is 5-5. Not one Chiefs fan blaming Pat for a L, or saying that he’s not elite. That’s the point, that we’re fortunate that Cam is QB1 here b/c w/o him, we’re 5-5.

Yup, one player is literally the difference maker this season.

Past him, it's more of what we've seen the last 20 years.

This is the year to make a move and they went all out paying far more than we ever have. It's not over yet, but overpaying seems to be our thing from coaches on down. We shouldn't lose a game like this or be in the struggles against other. 500 teams.

This program needed 5 good years of recruiting to rebuild, not to have 1 good season, to be consistent and stacked, we have had 2.
disappointed we lost today, but everyone was hoping for 11-1, 10-2 this year, its a different college football now than it was before, teams are going to lose games, we lost, season still has been successful and we are on the right track.

I get some people are very emotional and might not be strong enough mentally for the ride, probably to go find another team to root for, or get their T levels checked

It's been a great week, but disappointed today

Yea but we have him thank God. Next year might be rough again, but I’m enjoying this year
I think the young players on defense are better than some of the starters. They're just not seeing the field. The 2023 & 2024 DEs and LBs are more athletic, more talented than the starters ahead of them. The 2025 defense will be much better if our young players stick.

Quite frankly, the young defensive players should have been integrated into the defense. Guidry is not matching personnel and our opponents are exposing them every week.

yes to be a powerhouse, we are 9-1 year 3, but to build a complete roster and develop, I think a real coach needs 5 years

UGA under Richt didn’t need 5 recruiting classes to become a powerhouse

UGA under Smart didn’t need 5 recruiting classes to become a powerhouse

Bama under Saban didn’t need 5 recruiting classes to become a powerhouse

LSU under Saban didn’t need 5 recruiting classes to become a powerhouse

UF under Meyer didn’t need 5 recruiting classes to become a powerhouse

OSU under Meyer didn’t need 5 recruiting classes to become a powerhouse UGA

I can tell u since WWII, any coach that’s revered never needed 5 yrs. 2-3 yrs, tops.

I believe the old timers would have the proper read on Cam Ward today...

"A lil too much lollygagging out there today, kid."

The team is getting better and deeper at every position
