Wisconsin accuses Miami of tampering

And? We’re not getting in there anytime in the remote future anyhow 😂
True that we are not going anywhere anytime soon but do you forget when “you” feel someone did something wrong to you? So beyond the remote future….. say in 10 years will the B1G and Wisconsin forget that we **** on them?

For the record, I’m not saying we did anything wrong! I’m commenting on how the B1G and Wisconsin perceive it especially if they try to take this ish to court and we win.

there is zero chance this will effect UM joining the B1G at any time. $ talks, this is a blip on the radar compared to something like that.

If there is a UM B1G merger, the money will talk, not a kid transferring.
It very well may do the opposite. This revenue sharing regime would further entrench the B1G > the ACC in money, as long as we honor their cartels rules. We will do no such thing and are uniquely suited geographically, economically, and as a private corporation to not even break a sweat in ignoring said cartel.

There's one easy way to get us to honor the cartels rule's though. Which seat is Joe's?

Agree - They may be talking **** to create some rivalries.

We can’t live life like cucks to the B1G or SEC because we’re afraid to upset them by beating them out for players and/or defending ourselves and that may prevent them from letting us in their conferences in 10 years. The opposite. We should absolutely try to beat them in every way we can and let the chips fall where they may down the road.

Oh I 100% believe we had a friend talk to him at some point. I’m not doubting we tampered. But to say credible evidence. That’s a bold *** claim. They are saying some paid employee reached out. If a friend playing in Miami sending a message saying come home is tampering better kill every program.
Was he promised NIL money that he never received? Anyone can transfer at the beginning of the semester to another school so what’s the big deal. What his lawyer says doesn’t mean squat. A paid employee??? :zczkqmritjdsoaq.jpg:Get the popcorn.

So much this, up to the point of being willing to go full independent, pro-player's rights pirate haven in the Caribbean if it comes to it.

Ownership trying to tie you down in some fly over state? Come down to Miami, tweet about how great UHealth is, and play some football right away.

This isn't under the table money any more, let's show them how opportunistic the city of Miami can be in turning bags of cash into clean capital.

I doubt Wisconsin would ever show proof of the tampering, even if they have it. Bc as soon as they did, somebody would provide proof that they did the same with other players. And who’s to say it would even matter anyway? The NCAA would fine Miami a couple thousand and let it go. They would never take it to court to try and deem Lucas ineligible, bc if they lost, “tampering” would be legal. This is the last semblance of a rule they have left. They can’t let it get blown up too.

i don’t think Miami has any need to comment and probably won’t unless Wisconsin or the B1G actually pursues action but it would be glorious and hope they do

Yeah, I can just imagine Fox/NBC/CBS telling the Big 10 presidents, "Yes, we would love it if you invite Miami, they have fantastic ratings and demographics.", and then the Wisconsin president stands up and says "Over my dead body, they tampered with Xavier Lucas!"...

Might even speed things along to get an in-conference marquee matchup of Lucas and Miami vs the scorn Wisconsin Badgers before he leaves for the NFL 🤣 FOX promo team would have a field day with it

If this is their plan, then I figure before that happens we will have freed enough talent that even Wisconsin will be begging to make it stop.

Wisconsin never got the memo that you want no part ‘s of Miami in the offseason. Trying to come at UM between Jan -August is like having a casket match with the Undertaker. We’re in the midst of a dynasty.
This is a trend for a reason, we're blessed with a geography, economy, university situation, and quite a few people (who deserve credit) for allowing us to be nimble. Just need the jimmies, joes, xs and os to keep catching up.
