Fine, I'll add "just-a-fcking-bout" to my never.
We get 3+ of these guys per cycle and you've got 1 name from 2012. And who was it before then?
Coley, Tracy
Somebody is getting trolled , I just don’t think he’d spill the beans to a national writer.
I don't have any information that everybody else doesn't have, but. When have we ever landed a kid that looked like a toss-up? Not Chad, AR, or the few other guys we have/had that big teams wanted...those guys wanted to be Canes and didn't play around. I'm talking about the ones that let it be known they were in play, that spent significant time at other schools. When did we ever swing a kid who was committed to an equal or better program? When did we ever win the hat game?
Never.
And that's not me being a battered wife or suffering from PTSD, that's just being real. That's just a fact.
We never get these kinds of kids.
Never.
Chad wanted to be a Cane and so did AR, but both seriously considered Bama. Chad almost flipped and AR didnt make a decision until the week he signed. Everytime we get a kid people try to say "they were coming anyways" or "Bama didnt have room". Its true most of the time, but not every time.
they use us to get offers
bush with auburn
burns was with one of the bama schools tho i forget
pope -- had to fight bama and UF off for him at the end
nesta -- had to fight uF off (reports vary)

I never read either of them as coy or flaky. Neither waited til signing day because neither was about the drama.
Put it this way: you say it's not true all the time, fine. What makes you think it's not true this time? Because to me this looks just like a bunch of other guys who used Miami to create drama while knowing the whole time they weren't coming.
It’s prob best to stay away from the recruiting board tomorrow cause there’s going to be a lot of disappointment.

Well, all of this drama will come to an end tomorrow.
notable interview :
“I like hitting people,” Stevenson said. “It’s something that I love.”
Stevenson, who ranks as the No. 4 cornerback in 247 Sports’ rankings, ultimately chose to be a defensive back in college. However, Stevenson has yet to publicly choose which team he’ll be playing on.
He has narrowed it down to Georgia and Miami, and he’ll decide on the school publicly on Saturday during the All-American Bowl. He said he’s waiting until his mom gets to the camp, and then the two will talk over the final decision.
“Miami is the crib, and Georgia is something new,” Stevenson said.

I really cant get a tead on anything here. One one hand he says he likes hitting people and we are recruting him primarily as a safety. On the other waiting for Mom to talk things out.. makes me nervous.
