i dont think they need his LOI in hand until he plans to enroll as an EE. dont think he sent anyone an LOI yet

Pretty sure they have to turn it in by the deadline of the 12/21, for the LOI. Financial Aid agreements are not binding and he could have signed with both.

I don't have any information that everybody else doesn't have, but. When have we ever landed a kid that looked like a toss-up? Not Chad, AR, or the few other guys we have/had that big teams wanted...those guys wanted to be Canes and didn't play around. I'm talking about the ones that let it be known they were in play, that spent significant time at other schools. When did we ever swing a kid who was committed to an equal or better program? When did we ever win the hat game?

Never.

And that's not me being a battered wife or suffering from PTSD, that's just being real. That's just a fact.

We never get these kinds of kids.

I feel like Miami gets trolled by high-profile recruits more than any other school. Maybe it's just my proximity to the program, but ****...when are we going to start winning these battles? It seems that in the absence of bag$, winning is the only remedy. It's unbelievable to me that we can no longer get ANY of the top recruits from down here.

You hit the answer on the head: winning. Current high school age kids have never seen Miami as a winning program since they've been old enough to watch football. Fact. Why would they come to Miami? Because their fathers and uncles tell them it used to be great? Until we start winning we won't get the big names. Once we can show them what a winning Miami program looks like, the big names will start coming. Then with the blue chippers we will win more. Snowball effect. But that ball will not start rolling until we start showing a better product on the field.

You are right, this reporter is confirming that after talking with tyrique out at the army game that he only signed grant aid agreements and not an Loi...

Never is a long time, and we have gotten a few,but overall bags win out.

Yep. I posted this after the Friday he never signed. At first everyone thought he signed financial papers but he didn’t. No loi or financial.
