These visits are what I was alluding to in the Bank yesterday. Miami considers both players to be in the top tier and don't intend to settle.

Many of us do not want to see f$u end up with Can Ward. However, nobody is concerned with Howard and F$u. I recognize that, unlike Ward, there are no reports linking Howard and the Nolies. It’s surprising because Howard and Travis possess similar traits.

I still don’t want Ward at FSU even if we get Howard, but we’re not at liberty to decide that. Regardless, if Ward waffles, lock Howard up and let’s move on to other positions of need. He’s more than good enough to win 9 games, maybe 10.

Howard is there today, ward on campus tomorrow. You push ward for a commitment before he leaves. If he waffles in the least bit, you give Howard the green light and tell ward to have fun at Bullwinkle’s.

Either way, 1 of these 2 kids MUST be filling out admissions paperwork tomorrow evening. Periodt.

If Will Howard wants in then you pull the trigger unless they are almost positive Cam Ward wants in. What you cannot do is slow play Will Howard while waiting on Ward and end up losing both.

If Howard wants in and you feel he’s a guy you’d take on his own merits….you take him regardless. It shouldn’t matter if Caleb Williams wanted to visit UM and give us a “look”…..

In these situations you take the cheese the moment it is in your hands….not hold off and await “what may or may not” be behind door #2

Maybe 007 Mario has Howard as QB# 1, and purposely scheduled him first to try and secure his commitment with Ward coming the next day to put the pressure on.

Scenario 1: We get Ward.
Scenario 2: We get Howard and Ward ends up somewhere other than f$u
Scenario 3: We get Howard and Ward ends up at f$u.
Scenario 4: We don’t get Howard (he gets pi-ss-ed because we refuse to unconditionally accept his commitment) and Ward ends up at f$u.

How do we play this so that Scenarios 3 and 4 do not happen?

By accepting Howard’s commitment if he wants in tonight. Mario/Dawson have to be smarter than to force him to wait while they see if the other guy wants in first. That’s a recipe for Scenario 4 which is worse case for us.

TBH I could care less about who FSU gets as long as we get one of our Top targets
