yea....Miami sells papers and tv time

We have a lot of work to do..no doubt we should be 4-0 heading back home for GT

lets see how that goes..lots of football left and lots, LOTS of work to do...

We're 2-0. People wanna quickly hype us up. One game at a time.

I agree with what you guys have said. However, it's Golden's job to keep the kids humble hungry & focused. The media ****-pulling theU is a great thing. Media exposure and being nationally relevant (while doesn't mean **** to us winning a NC) goes a long way with recruits & thus the rebuilding of the program.

This team is NOT the 2009 team. Its a better team lead by a better coach. I agree lets not rush to judgement but we are no where near the same team as that.

Just like 2009. Except the program is a lot different in 2013.

Hence my comment that the program is alot different in 2013. Was just referring to the early season hype.

And this is why I love college football. Every year we look at the schedule and start marking probable wins and losses, but every year each team will win a game it shouldn't and lose a game it shouldn't. Let's enjoy the ride.

We know the "one game at a time" mantra, but have envisioned this scenario since spring. Not just dreamt of it with wishful thoughts, but saw our team's physical transformation, listened to everybody remark on the increased communication and scheme knowledge/confidence, recognized that physicality with serious talent and experience makes for a deadly team and lastly saw our schedule and the state of our opponents.

I've been saying 14-0 for months, but since I'm a homer, I'm dismissed as a crackpot.

Articles like this are crucial for us because we need the media to jump on board.
We need them to see us as the SEC alternative because the polls are a big part of BCS rankings.
Without the media touting for us and voting for us, even if luck goes our way, and we go 13-0, we could end up on the outside while 1 loss teams play in the big game.
Can't happen you say? No undefeated team from a BCS conference would ever get squeezed out.
Watch where Louisville plays their bowl game.

Louisville doesn't play Florida, Florida state, and Clemson. The best team on their schedule is Rutgers.

There's absolutely no way that a unbeaten team from an AQ conference would be left out of the BCS Title Game over a 1 loss team. It's just not going to happen.

Louisville runs the table the only way they would be held out is if 2 (or more) other teams finished undefeated, they are in an AQ conference and already closing in on a top 5 ranking. They are locked into that game if they go unbeaten and there aren't a bunch of unbeatens with them.

Which is why the will go undefeated and not play in Pasadena.

The ACC does not have the best reputation, so we need all the positive press from now until the end.
The polls count, and one of the polls is the AP poll done by sports writers.
We all know the pollsters have an SEC bias. Georgia has a loss and is ranked ahead of us right now.
Logically if Georgia wins out, Oregon wins out, and we win out, who do you think plays in Pasadena?
Oregon and a 1 loss Georgia.
That's my point. We need AP writers to start drinking any kook aid that isn't labeled SEC.

Poll rankings are only part of it.
Wait until the BCS rankings come out, and then see where Louisville is ranked.
Louisville's schedule is a joke, as is that former big east conference, and the BCS severely penalizes teams that don't play any teams that are even close to being ranked.

Just goes to show that in general most of America wants us back on top and that we are not hated by every media outlet. Miami has a mystique, and we will blow up in the media, we just gotta give em a reason. Look what happens after a win like Saturday. We are starting to see light at the end of a dark tunnel, the next decade is gonna be fun, we as fans have definitely earned it.

Undefeated season from an AQ conference is a guaranteed lock into the title game unless there is a 2 (or more) other undefeated teams.

Show me a scenario where it wasn't the case.

Louisville will definitely be left out over a 1 loss SEC team. An undefeated ACC champ will not as long as us, FSU and Clemson don't start ****ting the bed.

As soon as the schedule was announced I said if we beat UF and FSU that means we went 12-0. I still believe that. UF is a lot better than FSU. FSU has offense but the defense. Well I know it's only one game but Pitt was moving the football. If Pitt can do that I believe Miami will be able to do that as well. The test comes against Clemson in the ACCG. While Clemson doesn't have an AMAZING shut down defense, their defense is very physical. They have an offense that can play with any defense. So that will be a great test for the Miami defense which will finish in the top 25 in all categories.
