Why did We Pass on Tutu Atwell Again?

There was an article on it the week before the Miami game.

Miami thought he wanted to play QB and didn't like him there, but his coach in HS said he was open to anything and other schools knew that and recruited in kind. We just didn't do a good job here.

That’s hard to believe that it was a secret he was open to it...

He was **** bent on playing QB and nobody saw him at WR like that in Highschool , no big time school really offered him , his big offer was Louisville.

LOUISVILLE offered him as a wr. This wasnt a qb coach son type deal (ICE HARRIS)...i mean his dad played wr in college as well. It was just a poor eval of not being able to see a kid ability at another position locally. We offer him he comes. Another poor eval to me would be playing Malik Curtis at anything other than wr.

If I'm not mistaken, we lost Teddy because we fired Randy Shannon. What a shame to lose a kid with his talent for Al Golden. I'm not saying Shannon would have turned the program around, but if QBs make coaches, I think we would have had a better team with Shannon and Teddy B from 2011-14 than Golden did w/ Morris and Kaaya.
