Who would you schedule?

Penn St., Rutgers, LSU and Georgia
Recruiting and Exposure

Good list. PSU > rutgers (tv sets). Only issue I have w UGA is only that same grounds as Clemson and GT already. Maybe USCe I stead to get that low country area?

I actually don't know if I would want to schedule PSU as long as Golden is here. I think Id leave well enough alone and leave the past in the past. Plenty of other teams out there. I really want to keep an SEC team on the schedule and while Georgia is my 1st choice, I actually wouldnt mind the Gamecocks. That intrigues me more than say Ole Miss or Arkansas

I know one team I don't want to play in the regular season. That is Notre Dame. I hate them on such an unhealthy level that I don't want to threw that game on a regular season basis. I do think we are on the upside and they are back down to their ****** selves though.

Lets remember we turned down the chance to take on LSU. That got mixed reviews on this board. Some said it was because we were not ready. (Which I think those people feel like shooting themselves right about now) and some said it was because it wasnt a home-home i think. (I can dig that.) Either way, I felt we should have taken the challenge. Water under the bridge. I do agree that we have to stop scheduling these types of games. I was at the SSU game and it was probably the worst UM I have ever been to. (30 years and still going..) Horrible competition. I went back to the tailgate at halftime. Pointless.

Why even schedule these guys? I get that we cant schedule LSU, ALA, USC, MICH, and OSU as OOC foes every year but dang. Give the fans something to get amped for. That game was over in the first 3 minutes..there has to be a middle ground. JMO.

UCLA, UGA, Rutgers, or Michigan.

The first 3 for recruiting purposes and Michigan...just because it's cool when big non-conf. schools play each other in the regular season.

UCLA & Rutgers our great choice.
UGA is not need since we play Gtech already.

I think Mississippi St or Louisiana Tech needs to be option, so that Miami has presence in the bayou.

USC, Oregon, and Lsu mainly from a recruiting stand point I feel as we aren't recruiting southern cal as much as we should. Also I might throw Boise state in the mix no reason why just think it would be a good game to see.

Cup-Cake State,
Crap Florida Team,
Low-Level BCS Team in an area we recruit (Maryland, Rutgers, Temple), and
Marquee Match-up (Notre Dame, OSU, Texas etc.)

Kinda like the idea of keeping some Florida school for a cupcake just not as cupcake as Savannah. Like FA&M.

Rutgers in the Meadowlands
Bowling Green (always good) - Sun Life only -or- Temple good NJ/PA recruiting area.
Penn State as a marquee would be good
Mary Land NO on general principal.
East Carolina - fertile ground but often a surprisingly good team so not really a cupcake - just middle of the road.

I want all big time opponents. Risk everywhere, home and road. When you're special enough you tap them out one by one and it feels so much more satisfying. When you're not good enough you slip along the way no matter who you schedule.

Since Cuse and Pitt are now on the future schedule the northeast isn't so important but Rutgers fits the bill if that's a geographical region we want to hit. Can't beat after party in NYC also. ***** giving anything to PSU

Pac 10 UCLA or USC,
Midwest whatever conf: BYU or UNLV
Big 12 I never want to set foot in OK again, how about the CU Buffs (I know not B12 but Boulder is cool)
I feel we owe MD some beat downs (Pata game and Pickory suspension game)
Breaking Bad game: UNM
SEC: gotta be close to a major city so LSU

This right here

We need to try and get into one of the week 1 ACC vs SEC prime time games

I honestly would love to schedule USC or UCLA, west coast exposure, add in Tenn. since it's a SEC team and we should handily walk all over them, play someone like UCF or ECU, and then add in a high level FCS like Applachian st, Grambling, Alcorn something like that.

Georgia (just because their head coach used to be at The U).

LSU (they tried to do a "neutral" site game in a SEC dominated area, Miami said no because it didn't favor us. A home-and-home would make it Even Steven for both schools... Also, I am still upset at the Peach Bowl a while back).

Alabama (just to see where of program is compared to them).

Texas (Miami recruits heavily from there).

USC or UCLA (It gives Carroll & Jethro a great reason to keep recruiting in Cali, lol).
