Who will be lined up at PR against UNC?

Keep Phillip Dorsett on KR w/ Duke Johnson.....

I prefer Stacy Coley or Dallas Crawford on Punt Return.

Dorsett can't run through arm tackles. I would rather have Hurns on KR than Dorsett to be honest. He goes down way too easy. Yeah some KRs go untouched but he doesn't have the open field vision either.

You need speed on KR and thats what Dorsett does best..... Also Dorsett is pretty strong for his size, i've seen him run thru tacklers on Kick offs,

He's just inconsistent but Travis Benjamin was too, i think he can continue to improve.

Yeah I'm not saying Dorsett is a bad option, I just think we have better ones. Dorsett doesn't have much wiggle or vision. His speed is undeniable though of course.

I called out a poster in another thread for not man'ing up and admitting he was wrong about sumthin so its time to take my own advice. I was dead wrong about Dorsett. When he muffed that punt i knew it was time to make a switch. He rarely makes a big play in PR duties and now hes muffin' ****? Smh. Im on the Coley bandwagon now. **** even if Coley muffs it at least we know hes gonna break a few in between. I agree..Its Time.

Same here. I don't know if I put it in writing, but I wanted to keep Dorsett at PR b/c he was supposed to be reliable. That was a boneheaded play...and he provides no threat when he does receive it cleanly. I was wrong...Time to move on.

LOL. A Junior with a great history makes ONE bad play and you guys are ready to throw him under the bus? Talk about reactionary.

I am all for making a change at PR.. only because i feel Coley has more moves and is more effective. I agree with bomb, you guys act like PD has fumbled numerous times on Punt Returns. This was the first muff i can remember from him and i have seen PD make some very difficult catches over the last two years. Give the kid a break.

No one's acting like he's fumbled numerous times. When the only thing you got going for you is that you catch every punt and then you ***** that up (in a crucial situation where we were about to finish GT and the muff allowed them back in the game), then it's time to try the guy who gives you a much better chance of scoring the football.

Punts get muffed at every level.. No big deal. (it happens) My issue was him trying to make a diving fair catch in that situation when clearly we were having no problems moving the ball... Just get away from it. It's definitely not grounds for removing him from PR duties. I just think at this point, Coley is the more effective option.

He put one on the ground against USF, too, doing the same exact thing--diving to make a fair catch. Only we somehow recovered in a swarm of Bulls.

You don't sprint forward and dive to make a fair catch. You're just asking to muff the punt.

He just doesn't judge the ball well. He fair catches when he has room, and returns when he doesn't. He makes no plays, either. I only recall two good returns in his career, and they were both called back (not his fault, but still).

I say give Coley a shot as the regular returner. ****, give Corn a shot back there.

Not trying to call him out but he did lose a fumble on a punt return last year also. He caught it but when headed upfield lost the ball. Forgot against what team though

I'm going with Dorsett for in general, occasionally Stacey, depending on the situation. Simply put, Dorsett has for the most part been dependable at catching the ball and not running backwards, he has the speed just no moves. I trust our offense to move the ball. Coley has the speed and moves - but not so far reliable hands, and thinks ahead a little to much. First catch the ball. On a number of his receptions the ball does come a little loose or bounces off his chest - let him get a little more experience and that will go away. Don't burn his experience by putting him in situations that can be disastrous. Be patient, t's a long season.

He seemed to catch it well against USF (nasty catch in the end zone) & against GT.. Hopefully he is comfortable enough now to let his ability take over. Don't mind Dorsett back there though.

A mix. I don't want Coley to get more than 3 PR's per game yet. He still has to concentrate on offense, especially since he's basically our #2 WR now. Don't want to overload him.

I hear ya, but if ever there was a time to break him in it would be now. Dorsett, Hurns, Waters, Scott coming back.....are we ever going to be that deep at WR again while Coley is here? I dunno.

Three PR with added WR duties IS breaking him in! Its a lot.
