not saying its him but I dont think emory is better. the kid was 69% 16 td's 6 int's while getting sacked a ton.
Also, he didnt play against smu when everyone is saying he lost the game lol.
Problem is the team LOVES Emory so that person must outplay him.
 
To the "we have no momentum" crew..When is the last offseason that we came out of with momentum? LOL. Now you guys are concerned about that? We were a JOKE last offseason and the offseason before that. We have been a joke EVERY offseason in the Mario tenure so whats the big deal? Why would a 10-2 team with a SLIGHT chance at going to the CFP not sell to recruits and portal guys what we are building? We have progressed W-L wise every year Mario has been here. I am absolutey disappointed at how this season potentially ended but we have something to sell and Mario absolutely will be relentless like he always is in the portal and in recruiting. And we all know he has no problems making changes to his staff. Lets not jump off the ledge just yet because a few recruits (who both have had mixed reviews on CIS mind you mainly Nix) are looking elsewhere.

Only one team per year goes into the offseason with REAL momentum and thats the national champion. Everyone else is trying to sell to recruits that they are joining something special and the program is on the right track.

I dont know who you are talking about… but it makes me nervous that we are only in the “we are considering” stage - hopefully that decision is made asap and don’t allow that person to linger very long. There’s nobody like Cam that warrants that level of patience.

this makes sense. We should only consider no-brainer Tier 1 guys. Bringing in a kid that will still need to compete with Emory doesn’t move the needle.
