There are only 2 qbs on some draft rankings projected to be day one picks…..

Landon Ibieta, WR from LSU is in the portal. I only bring him up because he was committed to Miami before flipping to LSU. Now, he has done absolutely nothing at LSU, he missed all of 2023 with an injury, and he's probably going to Tulane since his cousin was Pratt's backup QB there and most of his family went there, but if we're looking for a white WR........

I remember having to argue with fools on here saying we should have dropped Horton and kept Ibieta. Might go start bumping that thread.... Some familiar posters on there

Watched Horton make some huge plays against state powerhouse Maryville and he sticks out amongst them

Can't speak for what kind of talent Ibieta is playing against but it looks low. Horton is playing in the toughest TN classification in the toughest regional path in the state and they wiped the floor 15-0 state champs.

His teammate is going to Georgia and Georgia was interested in Horton too. Can't say the same for Landon.

Talking about Jordan James in this post as well. Could have probably had him at UM with Horton but whoever the RB coach was under Manny.. i can't even remember anymore... didn't recruit him.

if i’m not mistaken, they were decimated with WR injuries. But they should all be healthy heading into next season. They could surprise on offense with the right QB.
