I still don't agree with you on the recruiting just like earlier in this thread, DHucks.
At least with last year's game you could compare schools in all of the different pitches. If I'm an A+ in Pro Potential, yet I'm trailing a school that's a B, I could compare that in a call and get a major swing...especially if I had swayed the recruit's interest on that pitch. You could also pick which pitches to concentrate on during visits, which helped make or break those visits.
Also, there's the phenomenon of 4/5* recruits choosing schools like Army, Georgia State, or Louisiana-Lafayette. That's simply not realistic, and rarely if ever happened in past NCAA games.
Also--to the point of "you need to win"...I have been. I won the national title in my first season. I keyed in on recruits I wanted/needed and maxed them out. Well...I ended up with about the 65th ranked class in the country with 19 kids because I landed only 7 kids that I myself recruited through an undefeated season...and the other 12 that signed were low 3/2/1* prospects. Now, my hopes all rest on two things: player training, and hoping I can recruit better the next 2 years to upgrade over those kids that the computer signed for me.
That's **** sure unpredictable like you said--but it sure as **** isn't realistic.
