Who are the 5 best players on this defense right now?

Some of you are truly sorry individuals
I'm basing my off of game film

Perryman- self explanatory
McGee-glad he's shutting our punk a$$ fan base up
Johnson- doing the **** thing
Finnie
Bush


Chickillo is not in my top 5 period. He's not making enough plays "right now".

Perryman could be our Vilma and Johnson could be our DJ Williams, but both guys have a long ways to go before I actually believe that.
 
I saw us get throttled 47-0 in Doak a few years before we started competing again for NC's.

Hopefully, the defense improves a lot and we have can stay in games. We're still 1-0 in the ACC so I'm still optimistic.

I keep writing out a list but I can't make it without throwing my ******* keyboard.

I give up.

There's some bright spots though, no doubt about it. Can't wait to see Kirby out there with EJ and Perryman. IMO Kirby looks very similar to EJ except maybe a little more polished even though he is younger.

High school production and his performance in the Under Armour game. He never had elite quickness but that didn't mean he couldn't be an effective pass rusher with his quick hands, strength, technique and pursuit. Unfortunately we don't have the supporting cast that gives him opportunities to produce.

My list (remember this is a "right now" thread, as in who's looked the best through 2 games):

1. Denzel Perryman
2. Brandon McGee
3. Thomas Finnie
4. Olsen Pierre
5. Eddie Johnson
