Who’s going to Syracuse?

Cuse is a ****hole .. that time of year it most likely will be a cold raw day . Maybe a bar nearby . Dome is on campus on hill.

any recommendations on nicer places to stay in the area, even if a bit of a drive?

attempting to not have my wife complain about the hotel, thanks in advance

Yeah I was figuring maybe a bar since there’s a bunch around where the parking garages are.

And yes it is a ****hole… which is why I haven’t been there in years. There are some nice suburb areas around Cuse though… but a garbo city for sure

Stay at an AirBnb near the finger lakes. That way the wife can hit up the wineries 😂

I used to hit up the games back in the late 90s and early 00s… their fans were ****s, but that’s what makes it fun.

Well I agree on just about everything you said, I think that's probably going to be a pretty tough game for us
 
Looks like I'll be there with my son. Just booked our flight to go up and spend Thanksgiving with my buddy from UM (we're old timer alumni from way back in the early 90s!) who lives in Albany and we'll also be going to the game. Not sure where we'll be sitting yet

Kyle McCord concerns me, he’s even better than Shough and shough passed for 350 and 4TDs against us. I do think Jeff Brohm is a way better play caller then Jeff Nixon.

Maybe I haven’t been to the worst parts of Roch… or maybe it’s that Syracuse’s worst areas are closer to the highway and more visible

We have to go to Rochester for my sons’ dental work (Sawgrass) and this past visit in July we stayed at a VRBO/AirBnB place in Pittsford/Henrietta (off of Stone Rd and Old Settlers Rd). Really nice and quiet area

Yeah I’m expecting a similar game to the Louisville one. McCord was who I wanted in the portal before I realized how aggressive we were actually going to be and Cam was a legit option

Should be a good game to watch this week them and Pitt

McCord is legit and Syracuse is throwing a ton.... I was shocked comparing him and Cam

McCord: 185/282 (65.6%) 7.7 yrd avg, 19 td, 6int 11 sacks 147.9 rating

Cam: 169/246 (68.7) 10.3 avd; 24td 5 int, 11 sacks 183 rating

So Cam is the Heisman hopeful and having an insane season but McCord is putting up **** good #s.

Even their RB leader has 450 yards on the season with 94 carries

Martinez is our leader with 78 carries and 380 yds. We do have our top 4 RB all with over 170 yds, Syracuse next leading rusher barely broke 100 for the season (104)

WR they spread it around as well, 2wr and a te with all over 400 receiving yards. Miami only has 2, Strep and Horton barely eclipses 400 with 412.

Now I really cant comprehend why their games have been so close with numbers like that...

they are 5-1

Beat Ohio 38-22
Beat GT 31-28
Lost to Stanford 26-24
Beat Holy Cross 42-14
Beat UNLV 44-41
Beat NC State 24-17

I do think Lville has the better overall skill players and a better play caller in Brohm. A lot can happen before the end of the season but they were one I felt could be a trap game.
