What is gimmicky about our defense, I'm not even sure defense can be gimmicky. We tackle well, hit hard, make plays in the backfield, and don't give up a lot of points. That's gimmicky?

A defenseman be gimmicky just like an offense. Not sure if Miami fits the bill. If you watched ohnofrio and golden dumb *** defense u saw how inept coaching can make talented players pretty much useless.

I guess by gimmicky maybe they see Diaz trying a bunch of unnessisary chit that's really not effective at this level

There was nothing gimmicky about that sht show, it was just that they refused to let the players attempt a tackle until the ball carrier was at least 10yds past the LOS.

He finally found a place where he can recruit athletes with the mentality that fit his general style and it worked out in year one. We just forgot that because of the garbage we had become accustomed under donofrio.

As a hc candidate last year.

-All the guy has done is go 68-24 at Wisconsin.
-slowly rebuild Arkansas. They get a little better each year in a very tough conference. They've played tcu, Texas a&am, Alabama and ole miss already and are 5-2. They'd be undefeated with our crappy schedule this year. Including the worst FSU team since the Jeff Bowden years.
-recruit the **** out of the state of Florida at Wisconsin and now Arkansas
-still only 46 years of age

I think Lu has pointed it out numerous times that the pair of coach Kool and Diaz is a match made for one another. As long as Kool is here the gimmick will be punishing opposing QB's.
