Where we go from here

If it had to happen, I am glad it happened like this(not against FSU or ACC play) and with this schedule. The schedule is perfect for answering a lot of questions before the real test starts. BUT, the big question is, will Richt seek those answers? If he doesn't, then he needs to go.

He needs a finding Jesus moment for any significant changes to be made.

Experience over talent never works against equally matched teams.

Donaldson isn’t a RT. He got abused last year by quicker DTs so the line of thinking is to put him on the edge against DEs. GTFO with that nonsense. Scaife can play RT. He’s a 3 and out type talent.

The one change that can jumpstart this team is a change at QB. The 3 other QBs on the roster can’t be worse than 40 something % Rosier.

Who do you think emerges as the top 2 QBs by Oct? Assuming rosier isn't included

After what I’ve seen the past few years, I struggle to put too much stock into QB performance on Greentree.

With that said, Williams is the most gifted passer. He has the most accurate arm and plays with anticipation. His physical tools are top-shelf. Gun to my head, he’s a cut above the rest.

But we don’t know anything until they play real games.

Not good. My hope with Perry is that he looks better playing real games than in practice. Which is possible.
I think he would be. Like in the spring game he wont complete 65-70% of his throws but the chance of more explosive plays will be there.

We go on to a similar year as last. We will beat many teams on schedule and get throttled by Clemson again

Why is Diaz getting so much heat? The defense didn't give up the pick 6. They held LSU to 6 pets in the second half. They hurt themselves with some untimely and questionable penalties for sure. But other than the fact that we are substituting LBers and secondary way too frequently (see 50 yd TD run) I thought they did ok on that side of the ball. If our offense can't score 30 a game who's fault is that?

Beyond those 2 reasons, you’ve got linebackers taking themselves out of plays, DBs continuing to not turn around for the ball, untimely blitzes being called, Joe Jackson and Jaquan engaging the same offensive tackle on one play, terrible tackling. The list goes on and on. This is Manny’s defense and it doesn’t live up to the standard in my view.

@DMoney, do u really believe any of the things you suggested are actually going to happen. The 4th qtr with 3mins left would of been a perfect time to see what Cade is like live.

We've been quotes from Diaz suggesting Gurvans talent is undeniable and Arami is a head hunter but other older players are in the game before them.

I dont see anything changing.. it been this way for a min.

A ******* men

I doubt Richt does any of those things

Because Richt isn't a next level coach. It becoming more and more apparent that Richt only wins game from having more talent. When things are equal he folds, badly.

The only way Richt wins a championship as a HC is if we have 2001 talent and that aint happening. I'm finding it hard to separate the difference between Coker and Richt. They both feel like the same **** on the field coach.

I PROMISE YOU now that UGA fans are objectively looking at what Richt is doing here you couldn't pay them to take Richt back despite what they tell you how much they love Richt. UGA giving us Richt is like giving your little sibling a hand me down toy. You loved that toy when you use to play with it but you know it not better then what they currently have now (Kirby) . UGA got a new toy that will have them competing for championships while we have a toy that is better then what we use to have but is only good enough for 8-10 wins and occasionally conference championship appearances.

Can't blame us for holding off on trusting your evaluations.

Time for the freshmen to play a whole lot more. Dean, gray, and knowles should never see the field again except maybe for special teams. Play Hightower over Richards. A freshmen shouldn’t be showing a Junior how to fight for the ball to make a play. Smh

And stop putting starters on special teams. I’m looking at you Homer.

Edit: find a soccer player to replace feagles

2nd edit: why are we making no pre snap adjustments? Every time LSU sent a DB on blitz it was sooooo obvious and we did nothing to counteract it

Fair, but look at Diaz's history of halftime adjustment at Miami. He has been excellent. I think part of it that you can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****e. What is manny supposed to do to make Javonte Dean a good corner? If you want to point to recruiting I will agree. It would have been nice to have Tyson Campbell or PSII out there last night. I think we have some guys who maybe needed an ego check, 99,56,4 among others. Hopefully they get back to work.

Imo Our oline wasn’t an issue... they were going up against a stout D-Line and held up much better than last years manhandling by Clemson. DJ was able to get going about as much as you expect against LSU and being down 17-3 5 mins into the 1st quarter. We couldn’t lean on the run as much and the run play calling was WOAT.

Yeah the oline still need work but I saw plenty of times Rosier had time to make a throw, but he gets scared when he has to step in a pocket he loses where the receivers are...

That incomplete pass to Hightower on the sideline on a 3rd and 7, Hightower was open all day but Rosier wasn’t even going through his progessions And was late af throwing it to him at the last minute. By the time he threw it the db already made up ground forcing the incomplete pass.

No doubt. Hoping last night was a huge wake up call and eye opener for every single person in the football program.

Greentree is not effective for evaluating QBs. Rosier looked improved until the real games started. We have four light games coming up. Put all three young guys under the fire (with live tackling) and see who emerges. Mix in reps with the first team.

Nope, **** no..bc practice can be manipulated.

Rosier deserves no more first team reps or playing time unless one of the others are hurt.

Richt is going to alienate the fan base & risk getting boo’d unmercifully if he trots Rosier out there again.

Y’all worried about FSU. **** we’ve gotta get pass Toledo at this point. My chest still hurts from last nights performance.
