Where the top in-state recruits in Florida signed

Unfortunately when every single composite 5 star signs in P2 the narrative is exactly the same.

Yet another way to negatively recruit Miami, don't go play in that second class conference.

Yup.

Almost like I made a thread 4 years ago now that has a billion views on the main board about this very thing.

The conference is dead. Thus, everything in it is dead.

Hanks can be a top 10 pic imo. Brown is great. Stubbs and French were mercenaries and Cleary Dallas Wilson is one too.
LSU overpaid for Pickett, not even UF would match his offer.

And you can't "go nuclear" when you are recruiting mercenaries.

Either play the game or don't play the game. Don't get mad because you don't like how the game is going. Don't flip the board over and walk out of the room.

And I could understand losing your temper once. Twice? But THREE TIMES...maybe it's YOU...

Dennis gave the Gators half of their list.

Yep If your'e not willing to play that game in todays landscape you'll end up with classes closer to 15 then 5

We did get the number 12, 16, 21, 28, 38, 51, 54, 55, 66, 74 players in the state though.

Wiley is 38th and Toney is 54th.

You can’t allow the Gators to get dam near half of the list. Major fail

1 is from south Florida. Not an excuse but south Florida just isn’t producing top talent. Annndddd the one from south Florida is Gator legacy. This was not setup as a year for Miami to dominate the state.

Let’s see what 2026 brings

I mean it's definitely not good not to have any of top 10 recruits. But Auburn got like 8 of the top 10 out of Bama over Alabama...

Ultimately on this list Hanks, Pickett, and Like Solomon Thomas are the ones I'd have REALLY liked. And even Thomas didn't seem to really be giving us any time of day as he was always about FSU and only didn't go there cause they're a mess. Ivan Taylor and Littleston we were basically never involded with at all, so whatever. Vernell Brown we had zero shot at. Hilson choosing Mizzou and seems like we were never after him. Ffrench just went to highest bidder. Wilson just pulled some BS with oregon. Stubbs kinda pulled the same ****. I still would have liked to keep him, but I guess it depends on how much NIL he got offered by UF to flip so late like that...

Honestly I liked our WR class a lot, so I'm not tripping much about those WR "misses".

The Big losss is and has always been Ben Hanks. Honestly if we just landed Hanks and missed everyone else on this list I genuinely wouldn't care much. Unfortunate he was a legacy, and that legacies at other schools always seem to actually pick them...

And he is a Jacksonville kid just like Thomas. None of those are stronghold areas for Miami.

This list is pointless in my opinion
I agree. Wanted Hanks and Brown but was it realistic to think we land them, especially when UF started throwing out Billy's buyout money? Lol

Pickett hurts because of the need and we just landed his cousin the previous cycle. He also was the #1 recruit on our board. The rest is whatever. A few of those kids I've never heard of lol
