When do we Panic?

Definitely is, look at the success of Cristobal and Oregon right now on the trail. They are recruiting at an elite level because Cristobal is a pit bull in recruiting and is going to get who he wants

Exactly.. Notice the guys who finish top 3 and 4 in recruiting every year are pitbulls

Miami should recruit itself as well. There are only 3 P5 schools that most recruits would choose to actually go to if all things are equal. USC, UCLA, and Miami. No one wants to live in Tuscaloosa, Athens, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Clemson, Columbus, etc. 99% of young football players wants to live in Miami or LA. There are probably some Offensive lineman that want to go fishing in Gainesville or whatever, but the vast majority do not want to live in these towns.

Colbert comes incognito from Texas works with Rumph and is a solid NFL DB. Jackson was going nowhere and is now a potential 1st round pick after working with Rumph. Why aren't we hammering the top DB targets with proven coaching and mentoring and getting them to commit. Stop the soft cell already

You're elite. Period.
 
We have a lot of kids in this class that will produce above their rankings, IMO.

It's not a panic situation in July, but in order to get where we want to be, we need to win battles for the top of our board more consistently, especially in position groups of need.

I will say, we can't close this season like we did last year and lose out again like we did with those two SEC **** at CB-- Poontain, Jr and Cumball.

Cristobal is absolutely killing it in Eugene. The guy has proven nothing and got killed in his bowl game, yet he’s recruiting at an elite level.

Its because alot of kids don't think about what's best its who do they like. Ive lost count how many kids commit to a coach because they like his vibe but get mad when he fails to bad coaching. Mario isnt trash as a coach but the thought that all these studs trust him is a joke
 
Def need to be changes in the coaching staff if we miss this year . It’s had to be concerning especially db and DT .

It’s not a soft sell, it’s a take it or leave it attitude he has when offering. Doesn’t work on it. He needs to work on his pitch big time. Look at the traction Simpson has witha couple of months on the job. It’s sales and right now he’s failing. He stays on the team because he’s an above average reacher of the game.

That leaves Neal, Bogle, Stevenson, and Davis. All are important. All would probably play as freshman with Neal possibly starting. If we can't close on these 4 I'm not sure what the rest of this class will look like. I'm not worried yet, it's still early but this upcoming season we need to beat LSU and FSU and get back to the acc championship game and play like we belong there.
