What newcomer are you most excited to see this season?

Ice Harris

Is he the best coach on the field now? The man has been elite for decades.

A position newcomer? Dallas Crawford will be the starting safety and the teams best in the backfield. They're going to have to keep him in check during 11 v 11, he's killin people.

Kaaya and anybody else (no matter how eminently talented) is a distant second. For the first time since the Rose Bowl I think we finally have THE answer at QB again, He'll play like a freshman, but this kid is the real deal. We have some other special talents coming in, but none of them are wearing a jersey number in the teens, and that makes all the difference.

Yearby's just as good as duke was when he was coming out of high school

Actually, Yearby is higher rated than Duke.
Personally, I think Duke was one of the top high school running backs I've ever seen in my 49 years.
The only one I've ever seen better than Duke in high school was Emmitt Smith.
Duke was 5 star.

No offense. Think Yearby is great. But I wouldn't compare any south Florida back that has come out since Duke that even compares to Duke. Watch Duke at Norland. He carried that whole team.

But Yearby, I feel it. Will be a great one for us too.

Kaaya on offense.

Chad on defense.

Honorable mention:

Yearby, Gray, Berrios and KC on offense

Trent, Owens, Wyche, and Hester on defense

It's not a knock on Yearby at all. Yearby is south Florida high school legend. But Duke, anyone who watched him play at Norland knows, even till today. You can't really compare anything to him. He has this glow, he always did.

I think maybe the only better prospect than Duke as a RB to come out of south Florida in recent years. Past 25. Frank Gore. Lot of nice ones along the way. But only one I would put on level coming out or higher than Duke in the last 25 years is Frank Gore.

Frank literally played right in our backyard. Frank was the whole package since high school. And even till today he's a star pro bowl runningback even after losing both his knees. Without the injuries, we would be talking possibly the greatest cane and greatest RB to ever play, he was majestic.

Duke is special no doubt, but Frank was majestic.

When Duke was a senior at Norland, who led Dade County in rushing?

And as for Berrios highlights always loved them, he has some wiggle. Insane. Kid should play some wildcat with Chocolate. Could picture it, triple reverse. Gray to Berrios to Coley to the end zone.

The Yearbs took a lot of carries that year too.

Dukes yard average was nuts.

I'm sorry, I like Yearby too man. But it's not a debate, Yearby still a south Florida legend. But what Duke did, it's not a debate my friend.

Saw him in a playoff game at the muck, I've never seen a better back in HS in person.
