Golden counts Parcells as being influential to him in getting him into coaching. Well, Parcells use to take a long hard look at his previous years work, made changes when necessary. I trust Golden will take a page from him and do the same, whatever form that change takes.

I admire Al's determination, his will, his relentlessness but he's too stubborn and too attached to his way that has been proven doesn't work over the past couple of games

Yup. One of the worst traits a coach can have. Stubbornness.

And one of the best....they don't come more stubborn than guys like Parcells, Belichick, Saban...

those guys can be stubborn because what they are doing works....

I can't wait til' we're back and and see all these idiots claiming to be Miami fans hop right back on the bandwagon and act like they've been there all along.

It's INEVITABLE that'll we'll get back to where we once were. And there's no better person to do it than Golden because you know he will stay here unlike the other coaches we've had. WHEN he gets us back we're gonna stay on top for a looong time. We just have to have patience and not freak out after every loss.
Nobody is jumping off the Miami bandwagon. Criticizing bad coaching doesn't make someone a bandwagon fan.

If we stuck here through Coker and Shannon, we're not leaving now either. I hate people like you who think they're better fans than those of us who don't blindly support every aspect of the program. You're the reason we're not back yet.

Yea it's my fault we're not back... because i play on the field right? That wasn't a very smart comment.

I'm not acting like a better fan, people like you are just extremist and don't accept anything else other than being national championship contenders every year. That's unrealistic.

I don't support every aspect, i want that dumbass fired just as much as you, but the hatred as been misdirected for a lot of other people. Guys are talking **** about Donna Shalala after what she just did for this football program. She put her reputation on the line for something apparently she doesn't care about according to most of you. If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have a football team right now. Then the pure hatred Golden is receiving now is childish.

LULZ. You dudes crack me up with the melodramatics about Corch Al being the only guy who would stick through this mess known as UM. Foolishness. First, UM rescued Al Tin from that toilet Temple. He tried to get out of there several times but couldn't get anyone to hire him until we did.

Second, Al Tin has $2M+ reasons to stick with UM. You guys act like he's Mother Fcking Theresa and doing this **** as a volunteer. The guy's stealing MONSTER checks from UM to give us the worst defense in the history of the program and a near .500 **** record here.

Agree with the initial post. We're all fans and rightfully ****ed about the last two games, but doesn't mean we have to be ugly and disrespectful. Unfortunately we live in a microwave age where change and gratification is instantly required. Can't tell if posters are the Randy lifers or FSU/Florida folks trying to ding or created turmoil . . . or irrational, clueless 18-year-old Canes fans.

This looks copy pasted from a Fire Shannon, grassy thread from around November 2010.

All of the above more than likely. Some of the porsters around here have done complete 180's within a matter of days.

Not for nuthin', but Mother Theresa was a fraud too.

Here's what happened to this board: All of the people who were giving me grief back in October for saying that I still had serious concerns about coach dorito are now posting the same things I was posting.

from the GT game on.

Someone should compile some sort of stat about what happens to defenses after they play that high school offense. It certainly seems to have been some sort of tipping point this season.
You don't need to dig too deep. Syracuse gave up 394 yards rushing in a 56-0 loss to GT. In Syracuse's very next game, they gave up 25 yards rushing to that offensive juggernaut, Weak Florist. :ohlord:

Playing GT doesn't mess you up for anything.

If we win coach is god, if we lose fire everyone.

Welcome to Miami fanbase. Only Cubans and hood rats need apply.

We should all be thrilled that we have arguably the worst defense in college football over the past 3 seasons with absolutely 0 signs of improvement. How dare any of you question this coaching staff. AJ Highsmith is playing great right now and you all know nothing about football. Its all about talent. Duke recruits far superior football talent than Miami, hence the blowout. Its a process. And if more of you guys would show up and support the team, it would speed up the process. So technically, its the "fans" fault. Thanks guys.

Lulz at this assessment. So everyone gave Al Golden 3 years without aying a thing and you deem that as "instant gratification." Guess what, he has produced the two worst defenses in the history of the program (Within 2 weeks our defense will be in the 90s probably). No one demanded instant anything. But keep telling yourself that so you can sit on your high horse and deem yourself above it all. Three years to turn a program around and make it respectable (not win a national championship) but the guy can't even get to 10 wins with a strength of schedule ranked in the 60s (I believe).

Uh. We flew a banner for him a few weeks ago, and now he's trash. That's a pretty rapid change, no?

They thought we were a national ship team. Lol. Now they are disappoint. We would play for the ship if not for Doritos. Lol
