Maybe RB
1 or 2 WR, rumor is Beck should attract a big name transfer
1 backup Tackle or Guard
1 or 2 DL, one DT and one Edge
1 rotational Safety
Don’t think we get all of those transfers, but I could see us getting 3-5 transfers at those spots.

1 CB/Safety - (Lucas)
a WR1 - looks like we're interested in Boise WR but we need a top dog in addition
if emory leaves - a comparable QB to bring in to push nickel (although nickel should be backup for reps for '26)

Thread 'As of Jan 11 2025 - what we still need before ND'

We got our QB and a studly secondary, plus a stacked DL. Here's what we need to beat ND at the beginning of next season:
  • The #1 thing is a solid DC. We get that and we are really cooking because we already have enough talent to have a very good D under the right leadership.
  • A veteran MLB to replace Kiko.
  • One solid (but not necessarily a starter) RB to give us a solid 5 RB's.
  • Maybe one more vet WR, but unlike many, I actually really like our WR room with the addition of CJ.
What would you add or subtract?

I agree with the positions but why are we shooting for 3rd and 4th stringers?

OSU brought in Judkins even with Henderson on the roster. Bring in the best players you can find.

Miami needs a starter at MLB, Lucas, WR1. Start there but this teams needs more talent

Eventually we won’t have the money lol

I also am just a big big fan of Fletcher/Lyle and I think Bain/Messidor in a real system will be the starters.

Baffled why anyone would want to risk the season on the young LBs who proved nothing

Probably need another db, especially w lucas up in the air
Rb, ol, lb will experience
May need depth piece at qb, but I don't believe anyone is leaving pre spring
