For me, I'm going to miss looking at the stat sheet on Sunday saying, holy ****! we gave up 500 yards and over 40 points to (insert school name). Or maybe it was that used car salesman's "working his tail off" to get it fixed bull****.

"the process." lol

seriously though, I'll miss some of the things he did to make a better gameday atmosphere. Golden brought the "rah rah" atmosphere back to the on-campus pep rallies, the cane walk, made the hurricane sports office a lot better for us season ticket holders.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but a lot of little things changed when Golden came in. Better social media updates, raising cane videos, good interviews, player availability, season ticket holder rewards programs, etc.

Under Shannon, everything was off limits.....totally ridiculous! Whatever happens, we can't go back to closed off, soviet union style press releases that Shannon implemented.

the "internal focus" at all costs bull****. I completely understand minimizing external distractions. But there is also something to be gained with using opponents' trash talking, rivalry games, the underdog role, and the like to get up for big games and play with emotion, especially on defense.

Laughing at the politician talk.

"We no longer have to recruit with one hand tied behind our back."

"We're working real hard to fix it."

"We've had to deal with a lot of adversity."

I'm sure I missed some others.
