Went to practice today (Some notes)

I'd rather have a QB that overthrows the ball and they fall incomplete than a QB that underthrows routes and gives up INTs. Definitely need to improve in this area but I would take the former over the latter. Thanks for the write up MAC6. You are welcome anytime my man!

Thanks for the report and write up. The above two points are my major concern with Morris. Sure he was a Frosh & a true Soph last year, but this is what I remember of him on most deep balls, badly overthrowing his receivers.

Hopefully he and whoever the receiver rotation ends up being will start putting in some serious work after hours.

Not surprised we aren't hitting deep routes. This early in camp you would expect that with all the inexperience. In 2 weeks, I'll bet you are hearing the deep pass connected.

Quality report and appreciate the info!

Morris certainly has the arm for the deep ball. Hopefully the timing will improve throughout camp in time for BC. High expectations for him this year.

**** Great Report! Why cant Morris hit the deep ball! If you must just under throw and make the completion, if you cant hit the homerun! Mcgee just put him on the bench let the young guys play! Walford has so much potential but just cant catch the ball! i AM EXCITED About Duke and Dallas, I dont have confidence in james.

I felt comfortable posting it because this is a strictly Canes site. Do we have any moles on here?

If the mods think it would be better to edit it, I have no problem with that.
 
Didn't realize we were the only team in the country running fake punts and fgs.. I say let it be - we haven't exactly gained an advantage recently from keeping any of our plays secret. :P

There are some fans of other teams on here although I highly doubt any of the info would make it to a coach of another team but might as well just to be safe.
