Week 7 -October 12 ACC Games

As of Friday am:

Clemson -20.5 over Wake
Ga Tech -4 over UNC

ND -22.5 over Stanford
Pitt -3 over Cal
Lville -7.5 over UVA

Syracuse -3 over NC State

Give me the over in Clemson/Wake

GT has lost both road games they've played, but UNC is REALLY bad. GT wins, but close.

ND wins a boring, low scoring game 31-10

I want to take Cal, but this is the definition of a lay down spot. As heartbreaking loss as you can have coming in the most emotional game possible, now a cross-country trip. Gimmie the Nard Dog by 2 scores.

Ville was as high as -9.5, it's been dropping. Back to back losses, now a road game, and looking at Miami coming in next week. Give me Lou-uh-vul with a 34-24 late cover.

Raise your hand if you had Syracuse as a FG favorite in Raleigh preseason. Insane. NC State's 3 wins this year are against 2-3 Western Carolina, 2-3 LA Tech, and 3-2 Northern Illinois (who did beat ND). 3 games against power schools they've lost by 41, 24, and at home to Wake Forest last week. Cuse had a crazy home win on Friday last week. I hate to do it, but give me Cuse by a tuddy.

Still 5 teams undefeated in ACC play:

Miami - Bye week
Pittsburgh - Home vs Cal -3
SMU - Bye week
Clemson - at Wake -20.5
UVA - Home vs Ville +7.5

That Pitt vs SMU game on 11/2 is shaping up to be a big 'un. Pitt has Cal this week at home, off next week, and plays home vs Cuse on Thursday 10/24. Very likely they're 7-0 and 4-0 in the league.

SMU is off this week and has back to back road games, but they're at Stanford and at Duke. Both very winnable and they're going to be favored in both. They could very likely be 7-1 and 4-0 in the league hosting Pitt.

Gonna watch the GT/UNC game and probably quadbox the "Ville and Pitt games with the headliner 330 games on the other two boxes. Probably put the Cuse game on the phone while watching the Oregon/OSU game on the big screen.

we really need one or both to lose a conference game...if all 3 end the season undefeated then tiebreakers come into play and I hate when things are not settled in the field

Miami smu and Clemson all don’t play each other which is crazy. 3 way tie for the conference game? Is tie breaker margin of victory against common opps? Could get dicy. Pitt and Virginia will lose for sure

I've been telling folks arguably SMU has the easiest path to an undefeated season after beating Louisville.
