Mario Cristobal enters 2025 on the hot seat if that happens. His first two seasons were poor. 2024 should have resulted in more and resulted in a choke at the end. That's poor preparation and a waste of resources on a mid coach. Let's hope that doesn't occur.

Kelly is 6-4 in year 3 and has just lost to a bad UiF team.

It could always be worse.

Watching all these games on the Canes bye week, and on one hand it is depressing to be reminded how bad our defense is in comparison to other top ranked teams. However, on the other hand I see a lot of top ranked teams that look vulnerable.

The CFP is wide open if the Canes can beat Wake and Syracuse, then win the ACC Championship game.

And chokes down the stretch. Richt went 10-2 in 2017. Diaz went 9-2 in 2020. Were those successful coaching tenures here in those 20 years that you listed? Don't be so easily fooled...
