The 09 class compromised most of the upper classmen left on the 2011 team. According to you, the 2011 team had a passable defense because of the talent left over from Shannon--i.e., the 2009 class. You are too stupid to breathe. How much does your breathing apparatus cost per month?

WE have so much talent in the secondary and our pass rush will be much improved along with one of the best MLB's in CFB.
This is the year we are relevant on defense again.

I'm not being irrational. I'm not on either side of the "Mopes vs Golden **** riders". I just wanna be able to have a decent football conversation on here without a ****ing full fledged internet battle over why golden is or isnt ****ty. Its ***n ridiculous at this point. Rok has literally made 3 threads in the last day all regarding the same ****ing thing, and each one has 5 pages of guys bashing the staff simply for the sake of bashing the staff. I want to be able to enjoy this once great forum again. Thats all.

If we won games we were supposed to, like Duke or VT last year, and not get our **** pushed in by good teams like FSU and Louisville you'll have your sunshine and rainbows back.

This is what i don't get though. We literally have zero control over whether we beat those teams or not. Why even come here and ***** about it? Think Golden and Mark read the board? Think the BOT is going to read the the board? No. No matter how much we ***** and moan, Al Golden will be our head coach, and Mark D'Onofrio will be the defensive coordinator. There is literally not a single thing we can do about it. So why don't we support the team, go to the games, and be fans instead of making the board un-readable?

Has Golden really "Crushed" recruiting? Improvement over Shannon, but we still have holes, and I don't see us gaining on anyone. UF and Free Shoes have outrecruited us, and we are losing so many S Fl kids.

Crushing it, recruiting wise, would be loading up on kids so much better than our competition, that poor gameday coaching can be overcome, especially against less talented teams. Don't see that at all.

Miam didn't have the talent the last two years as upper classmen, that changes this year. No clue why you cant recognize that.

I can't imagine ever having a top 40 defense with this staff and scheme, no matter the talent. For three years, the D has been lit up by EVERY good, most average, and way too many terrible offenses. And it's just not being outplayed due to talent. Never seen a team so consistantly outschemed week in and week out, making career high games for so many terrible QBs, recievers and RBs.

You'd think Dorito would accidently win a battle against an OC once in a while. he doesn't. EVERY 3rd and long, everyone, including the Coke vendors in the stands, knows what's gonna happen, except Dorito.

First rule of sports. When playing a lesser skilled/talented opponent, put him in a position where he has to make great plays under pressure. Take away the easy option, force the bum VT, Duke, UNC, etc QB to consistantly make tough plays. Don't give some bum an all day, easy first down every 3rd and 10 because you're afraid he might burn you deep.

It's the coaching. Say what you want about our talent, but it was always good enough to do much better than they ever did.
