Not sure what we have in NIL money for this coming year for the portal and HS but we need to spend a bunch of it on a couple of stud DBs

I don't think spending the money is the issue. The stud dbs in the portal part is. Most enter the portal for a reason.

Now...unfortunately, what I may be in favor of at this point is some tampering to get stud dbs to enter the portal. 🤣
 
My problem is if you’re gonna be slow at least have elite instincts. At least be physically imposing dudes who bring a punch in the run game and at the catch point. We have too much of guys who are closer to me than they are to a Antrel Rolle or P Buc
 
Wasn’t this the cycle that Mario was taking DB recruiting personal? We need studs at CB/S who can come in and compete right away

Disagree with Bell take. He gave up 1 sack, and Cam sorta ran into it.

He came from JUCO very raw. I think he will continue to improve over next year.

I think he will have a better chance of getting drafted after next season than losing his spot at LT.

We only lose X and George.

I agree with DT and DE may take 2 each.

We lose Mesidor, Alston, Cook, Clark, Barron, Campbell.

LB if Aguirre keeps developing could be fine.

Still surprised we haven't seen more of Z Patterson with our safeties playing so bad. I realize he has had some snaps and I know it is rare to play a freshmen safety. Anyone have any insight on this?

You can erase smith
 
QB, WR, 2 DTs, 4 DBs are a must. If Cooper leaves then OG as well. Be opportunistic after that.
