We Need DBs!

Yes I agree but we have to enjoy this win and the fact the defense only gave up 3 points in the second half. We need to play a full game and not wait until half time to turn it on. IMO the DBs are not communicating well and that can be fixed.

Easy with the “corners” plural talk. OJ is that dude and he’s a true freshman. I’ve still yet to see him play

Miamis secondary has lacked speed and athleticism for years. Its obvious difference when you watch UGA, Alabama, Ohio State, etc...

But the TE slip fake screen was a good play design, not because of talent.

The RB Ott on 4th was hood playcall, and Aguirre blitzing leaving Ott wide open.

The RB screen they got us in a blitz and Cal had numbers and Richard was only man standing.

The slot WR ran by Meesh 100%.

I imagine the secondary will look better next season

Robby and Stafford have speed. But we need to hit home runs in recruiting and the portal in the off-season.

My priority:

1. QB
2. DE
3. CB
4. DT
5. S

I think bell will be fine at LT next year. Worst case scenario, we’ll bring 61 over to that side and leave bell at RT.

Bell got whipped a ton last night. The whole line had an awful game.

I don’t see cooper leaving early so I say leave the right side alone. Look for bell or a portal. LG or Samson still needs to step up. Not sure about center.

QB has to be #1 on the list then attack the secondary and trenches.

Miami loses its top 3 WR so would think they go get a WR

Grabbing 6 or 7 key, impact type guys should be well within our NIL budget. Cam alone makes 1.9 Milly so getting that back in the pot next year is huge. Qb, wr, DT, cb, and safety are of major significance. Need an impact guy at each of those positions.
 
The secondary looked like a JV team at times last night. Needs to be a priority.
