We beat 1 team w a winning record

What do you expect from Rondy Zookon ?

I expect a um coach to have plan and look to improve and for the love of all things holy, at least show up once a decade at miami central. That's more than coke or radio. Coach D needs to go...but gold ain't no used car salesman.

My mom cooked this epic Thanksgiving Day feast but for some reason she decided to add brussle sprouts and beets to the menu. I was so ****ed at her that I didnt even eat any turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberries or home made pumpkin pie. I mean, She cooked beets on thanksgiving day!!! WTF!!!

You know we've reached rock bottom as a fan base when MODERATORS are stirring the pot like this. Not to mention, that post was corny as ****, but will probably be hysterical to the Sunset Place high schoolers that reside here.

That would create a win-win for all of us.

You think this is a good thread?

I think its a thread where people can discuss the University of Miami football program. THAT is why we have this site. I see this as a thread about strength of schedule. If there are specific sub-topics within the UM football scope of topics that anyone doesnt want to discuss (for whatever reason, "too negative," etc.) then simply avoid those threads.

As a moderator I always find it interesting that people want us to manage the content of the message boards when the culture of the fan base is going south. That's like asking a saturated bandaid to absorb more blood when the wound it still being torn open.

Let people discuss what they want regarding UM football. If you do not want to engage in a discussion on strength of schedule then I suggest you avoid this thread.

Simple.

How about just avoid redundancy and clutter hoping to make a cleaner board? When new information / thoughts are posted to support one sentiment or another, I understand your argument. But encouraging redundancy and repetition does not make a good message board.

Example: 100% of our fans believe our defense is HORRIBLE and coaching is largely to blame for it. How allowing a thread after thread saying the same thing, our defense sucks / fire coach D makes a good message board? Okay, we get it, move on!

I think some so called fans need to gtfo already. These threads are getting old.

No. Claiming that a poster is not a fan because they don't agree with the current situation in Coral Gables is getting old.

I think so-called "Americans" who constantly question the president and politicians, virtually every minute of every day, need to GTFO out of the country already, since this dissent CLEARLY implies they hate the country and are therefore not American.

See how stupid that line of logic is?

As moderators its not our goal to manage redundancy. You see, some people visit this board multiple times a day, some only once a week. Redundancy is a gage of how important an issue is.

Again, if you're a multiple time a day visitor, I suggest that you only click on threads that add to your personal likes. This entire website exists for the whole of Miami Hurricanes fans, not just the ones who tow the company line.

Take your own advice. You've been dropping some turds on here lately.

As a moderator Ive tried my best to stay cool with the whole dorito issue. Ive decided to wait until the regular season was over before I unloaded. Keep in mind this is SFbay the poster, not SFbay the moderator who is posting this.

Well stated SF.

Has it ever been mentioned on here that we only beat one team with a winning record? Probably not, since this is the final week of the reg season. So lulz at all the Doh'rito apologists getting their panties in a bunch over how truly crappy our schedule was. We also only beat 3 teams that are bowl eligible.

Seems like a very legit topic, IYAM. I will add though that UF was a quality win, in that we faced them when they had their starting QB and best defensive player. Still one has to look deeper then the surface 9-3 record, which in itself is positive. This has been an issue for Al throughout his coaching career, the numbers dont lie.

But you love the same post over and over if it's against Al Golden. Maybe someone could start another thread saying that our defense sucks, or that we shouldn't have lost to Duke.[/QUOTE]

I can do that.

Approach the topic from fifteen different angles, just to keep the pot stirred. Coach.

I see what OP is attempting. Next he will point out that the Miami Heat has only won three games against teams with winning records, and that all three of their losses have come versus teams with losing records. He will then imply that the UM football team is better than the Miami Heat in basketball. Dream on OP.

Again, if UNC and Pitt can win their bowl games, we will have THREE wins over teams with better than a .500 record. That's saying something.
