Watching the gator game

No doubt, if I'm simply basing off what I've seen from both teams to this point Id pick Florida simply because I don't believe the OL asserted themselves the way they can and should. I was also disappointed with the passing game as a whole. For Miami to take the next step the D had to improve, which it's already showing, and the offense had to be the catalyst that controlled the game. This offense has that ability, it just left a lot to be desired last night.

smh pitiful.

Big difference with me, I know Miami has the ability to win. They just have to prove they are ready to take the next step. Last night didn't show it but then again last night wasn't an end all measuring stick for this team. They have a lot to prove though with a great opportunity to prove it.

smh what next step has Florida showed you besides that #10 by their name???... you got a real inferiority complex if you acting like Florida is Alabama or some ****.

To all yall who keep *****ing about the O-line last night like now its a giving they are going to get manhandled by FLorida..... yall sound ridiculous

How many sacks did they give up last night?.... matter of fact how many total yards rushing did the offense get that game? think about it.

How many total yards of offense did Miami have that game??? keep thinking

Nothing is good enough.... yall dont even know how FLorida is going to be against us but since they have ranked #10 right by their name, its "omg Florida is going to dominate our O-line." Yall sound like some ******s real talk.

Are you really watching this game Dwinstitles? Toledo's corners are constantly playing 7-10 years off the ball. There defense front is about 10-15 pounds smaller than us.

Very physical and methodical team. Tough up front on both sides. This will be a stiff test for Miami in terms of what makes teams good--physicality and lack of mistakes. They will come with that and we will have to match it. We can't make mistakes and have to capitalize on every opportunity. We'll also have to be very good in the red zone defensively. It'll be a good test.

My worry for this D is the passing teams.

I think we've hugely upgraded the run D - through experience, U Tough and an infusion of size/talent on the D-line.

Florida don't seem to be able to pass.

I don't think its a blowout either way. I think it will be a close game. But some people need to stop menstruating soon as they see an SEC team play. Mentally, they are punting on 3rd down.

Did we have 200yds of total offense or 500... Make sure I didn't watch wrong game after reading these posts...

u cant make any type of observations from these types of games. remember florida struggled last year in their opener and needed a blocked punt return for a td to beat lousiana lafayette. theyre a good team and no one said we were gonna blow em out but dont judge a team when they play against a completely inferior opponent.

Lol at that whole post, the bottom line is that the offense didn't assert themselves the way they should have. A slew of drops, cut off routes, lack of separation downfield, stuffed on short yardage multiple times, and against FAU. It was rusty and uninspiring against inferior competition. This isn't about Florida being Alabama, nobody said they were. This is about the notable deficiencies in last nights game, as they were there in full force whether you saw it or not. Play like that next week though and they will lose, period. I know they can play better and expect them to, but only basing thing of what I've seen they have a lot of work to do. Florida is controlling the line of scrimmage today against a better opponent then Miami did last night, bottom line.

By starting your argument with assuming that I felt Florida is great, you already lost. But they did go 11-1 and return a lot so yes they have proven more.

What he said. Miami underperformed last night and based in last year and last night my thinking miami will beat UF dropped to about 35%.

LOL I didnt know Toledo was suppose to have one of the best Offensive lines in the country.... wow

How bout this keep swallowing Florida, i mean you seem to be really good at it.

You sound ridiculous even thinking that this first week of games for both teams have any measurement on how they will play each other next week.... smh you do really like Florida though i'll give you that.

I'm still trying to figure out who the non-retarded Miami fans who thought we were going to blowout Florida were/are.

I'm one of those fans, but most of the pussies on here posing as Canes' fans think I'm full on ******, so my opinion probably doesn't count.

smh, only canes fans rip their own their own team for a convincing win, and compliment a rival while struggling against a weak opponent at home

I'm willing to bet they are better than FAU, regardless this is obviously over your head. I'll ask a simple question that will undoubtably get an ignorant response. Does Miami win next Saturday playing the same way they did last night?

Wow, I didn't realize Uf was ranked 114th last year in the passing game! Really makes you wonder why receivers want to play there.

Of course you would like Toledo to be better then FAU at every position.... that supports ur love for the Gators.

and if Miami's defense played the way they did last night, they will win, how about that?
