Maybe I'm alone in this but I see and respect or disrespect people as people first, not as players, artists, singers, etc.
A terrible parent who neglect or hurt his family doesn't earn my respect if he/she is the most accomplished athlete, actor, singer. or whatever. I see humans first and foremost as humans and like or dislike them mostly on their human merits.
Idolizing athletes or actors is for the feeble minded. Here I said it.

**** no! It’s literally the only thing in my life, that lm still “old school” about. 😂🤣🤣 Put a handle on my name, lil fucca! Put a Mr. or Coach, **** O.G will work, too in some capacity, 🤣. I’ve went through too much in my life to some 15yr old to walk up like, “Hey J! What up?” Ny99a what?! Now if he grown, it’s whatever. Idc. As a side note, I refer to all of my students as sir and ma’am anyways, so that kinda let them know my thinking on that.

There's a difference between having some edge and being a jackass. The truest test of character is how one treats people that in theory can't do anything for you. It's easy to be nice to someone that can give you a job, let's see you be nice to the dude serving your meal or the kid that wants an autograph. Sapp has consistently shown that he treats those people like crap, mostly because he is an entitled jackass. The woman beating is just further indication of that.
 
He’s a Cane. Try walking in his shoes. I’m not saying he’s good or perfect, but ****…. If my life was on public rewind, I’d be ****ed. Instead I’m a respected business man, leader and husband. I’ve done some stupid **** 🤔

You can be good at football and still be an *******. You don’t get a reputation for being a prick because one or two people caught you on a bad day. When almost everyone who has had an actual personal interaction (not cheering for him on the field) with him has something bad to say. That should be an obvious red flag.

Perfect way to describe sapp..is..the jock in any teen sitcom like save by the bell.

Depending on his mood you can get a jovial jock or a bully jock but you getting jock either way. I pretty much use to see him once a month at my fav sub shop in miramar which apparently was his as well.. never said a word to him though he was my fav cane growing up and I met him as a kid before. We pretty much would do the brotha man what's up nod. Lol

Dlineman are wired different, plus he has a huge ego so his personality ain't for everyone. Which is why we see so many stories about him.
