Y do u line up the same EVERY time on defense? never 8 9 in box pressure looks? Y do u always have lbs covering wrs, is this sound football?

I don't want to draw a conclusion based on this game, but this isn't the same team we saw fight versus GT, UNC, Wake and UF (to be fair, all four teams have proven to be ****). This looks like those teams that gave up on Randy. Outside of last season (where we played cupcakes), the month of November hasn't been too kind to Miami.
Miami still has two tough road games coming up (I never thought I'd say Duke would be a tough game, FML). I guess we'll learn if the FSU loss really did take the life out of this team. The loss of Duke Johnson is absolutely crippling.

ANY question to Golden needs to be directed about the Defense. And SHARPLY. "You have now given up over 500 yards of offense two weeks in a row, clearly this a seriously problem with this defense, what are you going to do to fix this?"

At what point do you re-evaluate your defensive philosophy? Why are we playing soft zone under when we blitz and allowing WR to constantly run free on crossing routes? And after he blames mental breakdowns ask him at what point do you hold coaching accountable?

Yeah, ask him this and why simple swing passes routinely go for big yardage with no defender In sight on a consistent basis against us

smh...don't let to be that guy that complains after a loss but this is ridiculous. Yet another offense looking like they are playing arena football against us. I understand the "lack" of talent, but ****, do something different to help you win the f-ing game!

Offense is the least of our worries. 24 points against VT should be enough to win. This team has scored over 30 once before tonight, and that was scoring 45 against I-AA Western Carolina. Without Duke, really don't care that the offense scored 24. Every post and every thread should be about the defense.

This is a bad football team. Hopefully next year will be better. We could very well have six losses.

This team flat out quit tonight. D'onofrio should not return and if Golden brings him back, then the clock should start on him too. Very Randy Shannon-esque game tonight. I thought we were past these kind of performances.

I've never been a fire the coach guy and think everyone deserves time but after 3 years it's obvious this scheme is broken and not working here. May have worked at temple but isn't working here. He has to fire his DC. It's a big boy business and lack of results have consequences. If golden is t willing to fire him than he needs to go. Your not gonna go anywhere with a guy that can't make decisions that have to be made.
