SEC! SEC! SEC!
Nah they'll look at Miss St. instead.“The sources told ESPN that Tennessee's recruitment of Amarius Mims, the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 19 player overall in the 2021 ESPN 300, is part of the compliance department's inquiry. Mims signed with Georgia.”
So apparently, the recruitment of Mims set off a bunch of red flags with respect to recruiting violations. Wouldn’t it be logical to ask that if Tennessee was breaking rules and trying to sign Mims, what did Georgia do to get his sig on the dotted line?
Maybe the NCAA might want to look at Georgia, as well.
But of course, they won’t. Tennessee is just sloppy in the way they cheat, Georgia is just better at hiding it.
Naturally both school and both coaches learned from the master of hidden recruiting violations, it’s just that Tennessee fūcked it up in typical Tennessee fashion.
Exactly. I never understood that. NCAA would punish a school for recruiting violations even though the recruit never signed there.“The sources told ESPN that Tennessee's recruitment of Amarius Mims, the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 19 player overall in the 2021 ESPN 300, is part of the compliance department's inquiry. Yup. Amazing how the punishment was announced after signing day for 2019/2020 with almost no future repercussions.Just like Dan Mullen's time served for contacting recruits in person during covid...
The post I replied to was asking why SEC teams put up with officiating that favors Alabama. The answer is... what are they gonna do?What are they gonna do? Sue?
Tennessee was gonna hire Jess Simpson at DL coach and Pruitt was trying to finalize it and they implemented the hiring freeze and it stalled.
Behind the scenes they’ve let them know they won’t be coming back. He was gonna get the co-dc or defensive RGC title I believe at Tennessee so it looked like a promotionHas Simpson been fired yet?

I was told they interviewed Morris a little over a week ago or maybe a week ago today and he found out quick they would go in a different direction. Jess would have stayed with him if he got the Atlanta job. From my understanding Tennessee was offering him a raise over NFL money.I was just asking because I didn’t know if they were already letting some people go. But yeah, it’s no secret it is going to be a complete reset. They’ll hire another clown like the last one with all his catchy slogans.

Hope the Falcons get Brady. Falcons or Jags. The other should get Bienemy. But it’s the falcons and they’ll probably settle for Dan Mullen
Purely a guess but everyone else they’re targeting is offensive minded. Trying to avoid another Dan Quinn maybeDan Mullen would be a disaster. Guaranteed.
Brady is intriguing, but so young. His assistants would be the key.
I didn’t know about Morris. Why did they immediately turn away from him? Any ideas?

I hope. They’re gonna have to vacate that ‘98 title now?
You post a lot of this insider dirty recruiting type stuff, don't get me wrong, I like it because it's what I tend to believe about recruiting. My question is how do you know all this stuff ?They aren't. In my opinion, one of their tackles, a prospect out of Okeechobee that Miami had a shot at getting, was paid off by 'Bama.
Mother and father are driving around in cars their financial situation does not allow them to afford.
Miami has the officials, the conference, the cfb establishment and most of the media against them. Any complaint would be distorted and used against Miami. It's almost impossible to win a propaganda war against, well, everyone else. My point was that with officiating constantly favoring Alabama, the objections would be 13 against one. The other conference members have the power and don't have to put up with it, yet they do.Why does Miami put up w the officiating?
Sounds like they don’t really have the power. Alabama is the golden goose, the rest of the sec is there to make them look good.Miami has the officials, the conference, the cfb establishment and most of the media against them. So you telling me T2 should’ve signed with with UT and we could have gotten him being Portal U?!? Damnit. There are two reasons schools open investigations on themselves:
1) to “catch” themselves doing something minor in order to maintain their more major, under the table practices
2) to find a reason that gives the university purpose to fire a coach with cause and avoid paying the buyout
This is very obviously scenario #2. I will not pigeon hole all compliance departments into this accusation as a good amount do what they should, but
MANY don’t serve their true purpose, instead helping coaching staffs, bag men, etc. do their dealings while avoiding the consequences.
