Vick put black america on the map in general during his Prime, you couldn't go through Middle/Upper Class white area without seeing privileged White Kids and Teens rocking that #7 Falcons jersey. But that's another story entirely

Pffft. Always about race. Has nothing to do with any of that. People liked him because he was exciting. Nothing more, nothing less.

As a known Miami fan I married into a Tech family. I took a lot of crap those years Tech beat us. I worked for a while managing at the campus hotel. The Alumni are some of the most hateful and arrogant people I have ever met. The year of the typhoon rain storm walking to the stadium with my future wife I was bombarded with constant vile and hate. I'm a big muscle guy too, but that mob mentality took over. I can take **** talking, but they were walking with their kids dropping F-bombs and insulting my wife. I almost got into so many fights. I work with a bunch of VT alum in DC, none of them have ever been a-holes to me (very different from the people that I would run into at the games), but man were they annoying for the 2005-2010 or so time period when they thought they were good.

As for UVA, I am officially banned from the stadium for getting caught with a flask, but their fans are nice :ROFLMAO:
