Dude is not a good passer. VT's record when he threw for over 200 yards was like 1-5. I've rarely seen teams get far worse the more the QB throws. If Miami fires Diaz this year and hires Ken Niumatolo who installs the Navy triple option, then yes, Hooker is worth a look.

I lived in Blacksburg for 20 years and wotked for the University for the last 10 years I was there. I knew the coaches and mostly the players from the elder Vick and young Vick eras. The town until his final year never really turned on Beamer. It turned on Fuentes almost immediately. He has done nothing but alienate the community and the University. If they aren't careful he may totally burn down all the good Beamer and his boys built for the town and the school
