The whole "myth" of VT is this......every year they would fatten themselves up on creampuffs and and cake. They would play the majority of their schedule at home. The only game they would amp themselves up for would be versus Miami ...and if they won ...it was their MNC. Then when they got to the post season they would promptly **** the bed.

No one plays dirtier than they do...and for all of the hype they get... there is a good reason they do not pan out at the professional level. Mike Vick. D'Angelo Hall and one or two more...that's it. Kevin Jones....did'nt last. D'Angelo Hall is/was a liability at CB ..and the list goes on.
When they were caught bad-mouthing Miami to Jawand Blue ...it was not a surprise to anybody. That is what the staff and fans do. That is who they are. The coming of Larry Coker and Shannon was manna from Heaven for them (and a lot of opposing teams).

We made them. Their record against OOC BCS teams is horrid, their record against ranked teams is horrid, their bowl record is a joke.

I honestly have a hard time hating Virginia Tech. Matter of fact, I don't hate them at all.

I hate Florida. I hate the SEC. I hate FSU. I hate Notre Dame. I don't feel that way about Virginia Tech.

We out-recruit Virginia Tech at every single position, offense and defense, every single year in and out. They make the most out of the 2 and 3 stars they recruit and I have to respect them for that. That Bud Foster is a **** of a defensive coach, he has his guys ready to go each year and manages to field a **** of a defense with minimal talent.

Some of their fans are ******* psycho though, not gonna lie. I mean like Children of the Corn psycho ****. After meeting some of the folks out there, I can understand why they have someone snap every few years and bring a gun to school/mall/church/whatever and shoot up everyone. Seems to happen every so often out there. There's something in the water out there that brings out the crazy in folks.

But from a purely football perspective, I have no hate for Va Tech. They should never beat us, we have more talent than they do. That's why they make a good measuring stick for our program.

We leave the Big East and they have to sue to follow us. Losers.

Making $750k in Blacksburg, Virginia while having only the responsibility and pressure level of a D-Coordinator is not a bad gig. Some guys are just not meant to be head coaches.

Yes I'm a hater and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

This thread is for anyone that actually hates Virginia Tech more than FSU like I do. But don't get me wrong....I DO hate FSU. However, we have been battling each other annually for decades and for national titles...there is a tad bit of respect there.

Virginia Tech deserves none.

By far the most vile, low down, dirty, good for nothing, snake in the grass program that we are forced to play every year. What is there not to hate? Let's see:

1) The 'lunchpale mentality' gimmick that the media continues to shove down our throat at every opportunity.

2) 'Beamer ball'...everytime I hear this phrase, I wanna vomit. Another media ploy to hype up VT to a level they don't belong at.

3) Enter Sandman. Never did like this redneck track...what a joke that a college team actually comes out to it 'traditionally'.

4) Lane Stadium. Notice how they try to steal the Orange Bowl's aura by keeping the lighting dark in the stadium....they trying to similate the OB's 'back alley mugging' type atmosphere. Also hate the douchey cult like, mosh pit crowd. get a life losers.

5) They recruit by far the most annoying players in college ball today. Deangelo Hall, Marcus and Michael Vick, Macho Harris, Sean Glennon.....do I really need to continue?

6) Frank Beamer. Absolutely despise him. That grotesque chunk of flesh hanging from his chin is the most scornful site I've ever laid eyes on...yet quite an appropriate look for such a slimeball.

7) The ugliest uniforms and school colours in the game today bar non. Again, vomit inducing.


The list goes on and on.

This program has done absolutely nothing but yet has been a thorn in our side for far too long now. We are their superbowl and they have been taking advantage of the 'underdog' role...even when ranked higher. what a joke. The only reason they have been successful is because of being able to hang onto to Bud Foster for sooo long. How the heck hasn't this guy found a head coaching gig yet? The day he leaves is the day VT becomes a perennial 2-3 win team.

Freaking HATE Virginia Tech. When I think of VT, I think of Miami's dreaded green helmets...and its not a coincidence that we had to wear them against this program....even the football gods are making light of the fact that we are stuck with this wanna be program for good. May Lane Stadium be cursed.

Brewer got screwed. He got hurt and when he finally got back, his goofball coach was too in love with player QB roulette with a freshman and a walk-on and changing his mind every week without rhyme or reason.....so much so that Mayfield left to walk on at Oklahoma and Brewer left. So Webb is all that's left now.
