Virginia Tech Haters....Unite

Bud Foster must suck at interviewing.

We leave the Big East and they have to sue to follow us. Losers.

Has the guy ever even been given an interview? Look up his credentials once, the guy has literally never been out from under flubbernecks wing.

He's interviewed for the the Pitt job TWICE, and both times been passed over. I think that is the only job that he has publicly put his hat in the ring for. He really wants the HC job at VT but Beamer will have to die first.

Numbers one and two on the list made me groan out loud. Literally sickening.

And I get ill every time someone fellates Lane Stadium and props it up as being some kind of legendary palace to the sport of football. Even in its waning years, the Orange Bowl was the better college stadium. All-time, it's no contest.

I agree with op . I hate Virginia Tech more than any other school outside of Florida and even then I would say it's a tie. I love beating Virginia Tech. last year was a gem. The Marcus Vick 6 turnover game might be my favorite cane game of all time just because It was pure domination. Although we only scored 27 there was no question that they didn't stand a chance.

Not to mention Frank Beamer is an actual Turkey as far as I'm concerned with his neck

I really have a lot of hate for the Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University at Blacksburg. The world would be a better place if a giant sink hole opened up and swallowed them and West Virginia fans with them.

When they have beaten us, they have generally been favored, not the underdog that they are perceived to be.

Aside from the 03 team, they have never beaten a very good Miami team. I think maybe the 99 Canes, which were very young and still were a year away, was probably the 2nd best team they have beaten of ours. The rest of the times, meh.

Also, after all of the hype, 1 BCS bowl win against Cincy in all of those years.

Oh and Special Teams, aka Beamer Ball makes far more mistakes than big plays.

I think it's a huge break that we get to play them at home this year.

They've beaten 8-3, 9-3, 5-6, 9-3, 9-4, 11-2, 9-3, 7-6, 5-7, 9-4, 7-6, and 6-6 Miami teams. And that's with some of the best teams in VPI history.

On a side note...I've never been to Blacksburg and Lane Stadium and am planning on attending the 2014 game up there. I always bring my two boys - ages 15 and 13 - and we generally enjoy the away game experience without much hassle from the opposing team fan base. We've been to BC, UNC (twice), Clemson, F$U, Duke, USF, etc. without incident.

The boys are getting a little older and want to see this game next year. What can I expect from VT? Is it worse than Tally? Anything to worry about?

Yes I'm a hater and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

This thread is for anyone that actually hates Virginia Tech more than FSU like I do. But don't get me wrong....I DO hate FSU. However, we have been battling each other annually for decades and for national titles...there is a tad bit of respect there.

Virginia Tech deserves none.

By far the most vile, low down, dirty, good for nothing, snake in the grass program that we are forced to play every year. What is there not to hate? Let's see:

1) The 'lunchpale mentality' gimmick that the media continues to shove down our throat at every opportunity.

2) 'Beamer ball'...everytime I hear this phrase, I wanna vomit. Another media ploy to hype up VT to a level they don't belong at.

3) Enter Sandman. Never did like this redneck track...what a joke that a college team actually comes out to it 'traditionally'.

4) Lane Stadium. Notice how they try to steal the Orange Bowl's aura by keeping the lighting dark in the stadium....they trying to similate the OB's 'back alley mugging' type atmosphere. Also hate the douchey cult like, mosh pit crowd. get a life losers.

5) They recruit by far the most annoying players in college ball today. Deangelo Hall, Marcus and Michael Vick, Macho Harris, Sean Glennon.....do I really need to continue?

6) Frank Beamer. Absolutely despise him. That grotesque chunk of flesh hanging from his chin is the most scornful site I've ever laid eyes on...yet quite an appropriate look for such a slimeball.

7) The ugliest uniforms and school colours in the game today bar non. Again, vomit inducing.

The list goes on and on.

This program has done absolutely nothing but yet has been a thorn in our side for far too long now. We are their superbowl and they have been taking advantage of the 'underdog' role...even when ranked higher. what a joke. The only reason they have been successful is because of being able to hang onto to Bud Foster for sooo long. How the heck hasn't this guy found a head coaching gig yet? The day he leaves is the day VT becomes a perennial 2-3 win team.

Freaking HATE Virginia Tech. When I think of VT, I think of Miami's dreaded green helmets...and its not a coincidence that we had to wear them against this program....even the football gods are making light of the fact that we are stuck with this wanna be program for good. May Lane Stadium be cursed.

Agree with a lot of that but cant knock Metallica...Metal doesn't equal redneck

The fans up there generally suck. Bunch of ******* rednecks. Some of them are nice but be prepared to be heckled and maybe have **** thrown at you. Your boys are probably old enough to handle it so I'd still say go but I wouldn't have recommended going if your kids were girls or younger.

Yesterday, the following was reported...

"The worst news possible came down just minutes ago, as Virginia Tech has announced they will be without the services of projected starting WHIP linebacker Ronny Vandyke and last year's third-leading returning rusher, Tony Gregory, who tore his ACL for the FOURTH time."

OLB situation not much better. Behind Vandyke are walk-ons Josh Trimble, Derek DiNarod.

OL Mark Shuman has torn lateral meniscus. Will be out 4-6 weeks. (Will be back for our game).

If you thought VT was bad last year, they will be worse this year.

Thats pathetic.... i mean even if Vandyke was healthy how could u even explain why you have walk-ons as your 2nd and 3rd string option on the depth chart???

Maybe they are "good" walk-ons? I don't know what goes on at VT but I think Beamer has jumped the shark as a coach plus he is 66.

Things used to go his way but now "Beamer Ball" isn't enough to get it done. He is now getting out recruited by UVA and London too. I expect Foster to take over pretty soon but this would be Foster's first HC gig and he is on the other side of 50.

Is their site really called "Gobbler country"?

Easy school to hate for sure...but also easy school to respect..

Middle of know where Bum *** Egypt....still gets decent kids to play...Has been surrounded by Penn ST...UVA, OSU. WVU ...coaching staff stays in Tack...most kids stay 4 years..will play anyone..will not beat them but will play anyone..
Bama, Boise, Lsu, Usc, Neb, to name a few..

as for Lane..it nor any stadium will ever have WHAT the OB had...Lane is a great place for CFB..GREAT...fans are great if you sit with fans and not 12 yr old students liek 99% of all CFB stadiums....I have been there twice..once for the Marcus Vick beat down and 3 years ago when it was raining and our Heisman Qb and future NFL HOF TE had a rough day...
If you are a true fan of CFB and see past sitting in Son lifeless Lane is a great atmosphere.....

I still hate them for what reasons I don't know..?/ Success? owning us for the last 8 years? either way we make it two in row on them this year...But they also get my respect
