I know toral is extremely slow on the bases but I thought it was a bit early to pull him. Now a bunch of freshmen at the plate and other than morales it hasn't looked pretty

Plate discipline is horrible. The VT pitcher threw a steady diet of CBs and CHs and our hitters swung thru them. We continue to sit FB and it AIN'T coming if you can't hit the off-speed.

It's very early but the Florida series gave many of us false hope. We can't hit and the BP is suspect.

9-6. Every aspect of this team (other than perhaps strangely the defense) has failed at some point this weekend.
 
Just a terribly managed game by DiMare. He pulls Medoros too early, then keeps Arguelles in way too long. On top of weird lineup choices and substitutions. Just awful.

This guy has probably thrown 3 FBs total and they flail at the off speed like they had no idea it was coming

One of the positives from last weekend was the fight this team showed playing from behind. We’ve seen none of that this weekend.
 
Nobody wins them all in baseball, not even close. But there is no excuse for what happened this weekend. This team and these coaches have a lot to prove. If anything like this continues, a month from now we’ll be saying, last weekend showed more about Florida than Miami.
