We hit the ball well early and nothing to show for it. But we will struggle vs good LH starters like their guy today. At least Gil and Gabe are starting to show signs of better production and looking more comfortable at the plate.

We all know CDC isn't a CF. So why doesn't he go to LF and Lala goes to center where he played as a freshman? He is much better defensively there than CDC

Final is 4-0. They never mounted any kind of concerted comeback attempt. I don’t want to say a game in March is must win, but tomorrow is pretty close if Mother Nature permits.

Of course even if he’d caught it the runner would have tagged and we’d still have been required to score a run. Losing 1-0 on a combined no hitter would probably have been more depressing.

Even had that ball been caught it would have yielded 1 and possibly 2 runs. Then we would have lost a no hitter
