Ventrell Miller

King is at safety now so he doesn't count towards the numbers at LB.

So realistically. 1 senior in Grace, 1 junior in Young, 3 redshirt sophomores in Owens, McCray & Smith. 1 sophomore in Perry. 1 redshirt freshman in Gordinier and then the 3 true freshmen (2 starting already and the other is already working with second team coming off a injury)

Grace graduates and I would expect to see at least 1 or 2 transfers from older guys who get passed up this year on the depth chart at LB.

Feel like staff is going by the book right now since no transfers yet but I can definitely see 3 LB class after transfers happen and dust settles. Give me Steed, Miller & Wilder. That would be a great LB class and get us toward quality depth at the position.

Me too. Steed, Miller and Wilder or the Tennessee kid.

we have 4 sophomores(potentially 5 if darrion owens did in fact get a med redshirt last year). all of whom may get passed on the depth chart by the 3 freshman currently on the roster. at least 1, potentially 2 of them can transfer to a better situation for them.

agree with the franchise. with our roster returning to a full 85 in 2017, no reason why we dont end up taking 3 LB's, at least, this year.

You cannot apply for a medical redshirt until all of your eligibility is up.

I would take Steed, Wilder AND Miller ... and say addios to Mike Smith or Terry McCray

My thoughts exactly! Miller is most definitely a take IMO. Best film of any 2017 Florida LB I've seen so far. The kid is a natural and his tape screams high football IQ. As far as him being similar to Sean Spence physically, what the **** is the matter with that?

Nothing is wrong with that, but Spence was under 200 lbs coming out of HS and Miller is already 220+. So horrible comparison when talking about physical size and speed.

For real! How could that possibly be a negative?!? Besides, he's much larger than Spence. He's built just like Perryman. Doubt he ends up THAT big by the end of his career though
