Nobody is making him a starter because of what he did at Vandy, but only will if/when/because of what is NOT on Miami's current roster.
Again, the kid is developing AS YOU WOULD EXPECT from a freshman, so there is no reason for him to be a finishe d product that is a polished starter already. He's got 4 games against so-so competition to get his feet wet at UM before the ACC schedule starts.
Learn about the kid. He's very promising, and Vandy didn't want him to leave, they didn't push him out. He's not coming for massive NIL. This is a great take, because he doesn't have built-in bad habits or "this is how we did it at Vandy" yet, you can coach him up along with the other new guys, nobody really has an advantage.
