agreed.Riley also dropped a perfect pass that would’ve been a big play

Its not an opinion bud. Our opponents know that TE's on the field are either blocking or decoys. 5 games of evidence supports that. Will Mallory, Brevin Jordan, Clive Walford, Chris Herndon, Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, Jimmy Graham, and all the other TE to walk through those doors are rolling over in their grave.I know tvd missed Riley I think int he end zone on one play, but overall, we dont use the TEs much imo. ive said that this is the offense. there is no saving the playbook BS we tell ourselves. it doesn't mean its a bad offense bc it clearly isnt. now that we play better teams, lets see how we look offensively. no more cupcakes on the schedule. defensively, I have zero concerns tbh. Guidry has been outstanding and so has Dawson up to this point
pass rush has been a concern for me but we still dont have mesidor back right. we've been struggling with a pass rush since ATM really. our CBs are what they are but overall we have been a good defensive team. even on Saturday night. Its not an opinion bud. If you don't have any concerns definsively you are brave. Our DBs are slow, we have 0 pass rush unless we are blitzing and good QBs will eat.
We have 3 corners on the field below 5'11 it's weird.pass rush has been a concern for me but we still dont have mesidor back right. we've been struggling with a pass rush since ATM really. our CBs are what they are but overall we have been a good defensive team. even on Saturday night.
Is it though? At this point I just expect us to lose after every bye.We are not a good red zone offense. The numbers are the numbers and it’s a fact and what you hit on is spot on.
And like Roman pointed out in his video, GT ignored Miami tight ends. They went straight in to play the run. We became predictable off a bye week preparation. Mind boggling.
It feels like you are correct. I wish you were wrong.Even if Arroyo were "healthy" would he get more than 1 or 2 targets? Wasting a spot on the field is dense.
Purdy is the perfect example. He was a really good QB at Iowa State but most people in the east coast don’t watch Big 12/Pac-10 football.
Once people realize this and lower their expectations they won’t get so emotional and overhype his good games and wont be surprised by his bad ones lol
I said it before the year too, thats why i was hoping we get some dynamic playmakers. When u have an ok qb u gotta surround him with elite scheme and weapons, like fsu did with travis, oregon did with nix, louiville qb,hendon hooker last year **** even purdy in the nfl lol.
I was pretty confident that based on what we had seen from Shannon that we weren’t going to fall into the traps or issues of old especially vs GT. I believed!!!Is it though? At this point I just expect us to lose after every bye.
Just a tad emotional ?It sounds like you guys think we should just start Emory & get it over with?
Yep I’ve been saying it, he does not process information well enough to be a first rounder or starter in the league, maybe he gets better i hope he does he’s a cane but his clock is slow and he benefits from college offensesPurdy is the perfect example. Purdy is a super smart kid with very good mechanics, arm, intangibles but doesn’t have the elite profile of a Josh Allen or even the QB they drafted higher in Trey Lance.
But you aren’t going to fool Purdy and he’s able to understand and process information and he almost always knows where to go with the ball while also having some awesome weapons. Very Bradyesque start to his career. He also has a very good coach in Shannahan.
TVD has some very good weapons and he uses them well but not very consistently and has major trouble when he has to adjust on the fly. If you don’t put it in a platter for TVD he struggles to catch up. The MTSU game and this GT game are very concerning games for his resume and the success of our program.
“If you don’t know me by now
You will never never never know me”
Da Gawd.It sounds like you guys think we should just start Emory & get it over with?
Disagree with the bolded. This dude is a one read pony. The moment he has to make more than one read, he panics and makes some of the worst throws you will ever see.
Watching live, from my seats behind the end zone, I see easily how he locks on to a route. He’s not capable of looking off a defender and coming back to another read. He straight stares down where he is going with the ball. Has for years!!
Last year, Gattis was awful and didn’t make things easy for TVD but this guy also couldn’t read a defense to help himself the OC couldn’t scheme up things to his liking.
In the NFL, this guy will be lucky to stay in a team a few years as a backup (see Trask at Tampa - same type of QB).
I’ve said I could see him go first round (hyperbole) but that has less to do with his talent and more to do with the NFL being absolutely Kool aid drunk on quarterbacksCIS also pegged him as a 1st rounder. If he throws 3+ TD'S, Heisman talks will resume.
To early to say but he won't have anyone that can beat him out of job if he returns. He's good enough to start.TVD is our QB in 2024 unless he hits the portal or we fall backwards into someone else.
Anyone disagree?
This debate continues to rage on despite numerous people showing video evidence of it not being true (him being a one read QB)Disagree with the bolded.
Now, it could be argued that when he is stressed, uncomfortable, off, or whatever, he tends to telegraph and lock on his first read. But he has shown a lot of games of moving to more than one read.
I think the issue is that TVD and Dawson weren't on the same page. If they were, TVD may not have agreed and tried to force it anyway.
My understanding is that Tyler has freedoms he never had before. I can certainly be wrong about that.Disagree with the bolded.

NO, just NO. I like Emory but he is actually slower with his reads than TVD. Now it would be nice to get him in against a P5 school this year to keep cutting his teeth. It sounds like you guys think we should just start Emory & get it over with?
